a whole debate about "process" of the lack of Government procurement and tenders and sales. Both sides know that the regulations that exist are not transparent and solid enough so they will always have fodder to attack the other side. But why haven"t these processes been fixed etc? Because everyone in politics can have their turn robbing the people. Marlene seems to be saying she wants to fix this.......but i doubt it! The whole Maltese system of laws and Government procedures is so mired in corruption (from way back) that its hard to fix and in no ones interest to do so. Add to that the fact everyone knows everyone: part time politicians doing business themselves and many many other contributing factors. Nothing short of a whole root and branch review will fix this long term irrespective of who gets elected.
