So happy you’re keeping an open mind and taking opportunities when they’re presented. Visiting new places, trying new foods and experiencing different customs/cultures and traditions can help you gain an appreciation for diversity.
WOW!! Mike, so amazing to be able to "share" the experience with you...I have never seen anything like it! Safe travels and thanks for taking us along... 🙂
I'm VERY glad I found your channel! It is one of the best on TH-cam!! It's more like a television series than just ramblings of places you've been! I can't stop watching!!✌🐢
I watch you as much as I can. I am going to watch this because my son-in-law is coming back from Saudi Arabia tonight. I'm proud of what he does, but it is difficult in travel - and you do that all the time. He manages sound systems, and does the mixing at performances. It was his first time there as well. I look forward to hearing his experience albeit he probably did not have much free time. Thanks Donnie for all of our videos. I have never been disappointed!
It's a good thing the race isn't held in July, it's held in the middle of the northern winter. Everyone is still wearing t shirts in the middle of the day. It's a brutal place.
Love the historical reenactment, that is really cool and a fun way to bring the liveliness into consideration that those ruins once had in their heyday.
One cannot watch this video (let alone any of your videos) without a perpetual smile and absolute pure joy circulating throughout the veins. This video was a true adventure. The people you came into contact with were all so friendly and hospitable. Thank you for being a beautiful light in the world. God bless you 75 pretty cool plane logo. Quite the cliff hanger ending; I look forward to the next episode.
This was truly unique, even for your channel, which is always full of surprises, when you said you would surprise us with what you were going to Arabian desert for, my guess was an auto race. I would never have guessed a falcon race viewed from an indoor facility. those rock formations were reallly stunning as well.
Not much anyone can say but WOW. What a great trip you were offered and by sharing it, I'm sure there are a lot of us viewers that would like to and some that can go. Thank you
Except I didn’t get paid any money for this video (just gifted free flights by Red Bull), but I see your sentiment, and honestly… that Vancouver Park video was when I almost quit. I guess you never know how far you’ll make it one day. Thanks for the support.
The flights looked amazing. A little jealous of the travels, even though I never would picture myself going to Saudi Arabia. Enjoy your videos because you make them fun and educational as well as enjoyable.
They have a beautiful country. Reminds me of the desert where I live, near Palm Springs. Love the desert. Just not loving California anymore, I need a slower paced city life.
Wow what an experience from flying from Hong Kong to Saudi Arabia to the desert and everything in between. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I always looking forward to the next video.
I've been following you for years and coincidentally have been looking at Alula as a travel destination for a small group trip I'm planning. You're the first vlogger I've seen actually go there, so thank you! I heard they have just started to develop this area for tourism, and I guess your promo trip means they are officially ready to welcome visitors. Would you say so?
@@DownieLive Thanks for the response! The places you went in this video looked a bit like tourist traps, and not even ones designed for English speakers. Did you happen to notice if there are opportunities for an English guide to take you out into the dessert for more of a real exploration of ruins, without actors and candles everywhere?
i found this channel through the narrow boating in wales series of videos. and since those series i would love to see you do Göta kanal in sweden including göta älv. wich makes you travel across the entire country. i was personally unable to find anyone on YT who has filmed the entire journey through.
Somewhere in the middle of the video you said you didn't know where you were going, so I had to add, but you hope we are going with you! Thanks for another great adventure!
Hi Mike! Love your videos. My husband and I are from Abbotsford BC. So I try to watch your adventures via videos on TH-cam whenever I can. This is so neat because I have been so enamored with watching videos and learning about Jordan. If I was younger I would have loved to have gone there for a trip. But now we are armchair travelers . I am wondering if you will be going to Jordan? I guess we will see, eh...Enjoy your trip and time there..all the best...June ..🐪
Mike, I am with you! I tell people when I first meet them "My name is Mike and I have a built in one!" But not this time. I am truly spechless after watching this video. I am really looking forward to next week's video!
I lived in worked in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, the desert is an amazing place to see. Yes, it's a different world over there in terms of freedoms, and customs, the best of advice I was given was " this is Rome".... and we all know what comes after that. One of the things that jumped out at me while transiting through Dubai, all the clocks on the walls in the airport are made by Rolex.
I heard of Emirates but first time seeing someone on it. Very nice. Lot of attention to detail with stars on ceiling and the Polaroid idea. Too bad about the rush and not seeing their lounge. But the airports seem like size of West Edmonton mall so you had to rush :)
Inshallah, you'll be there!! What a great journey. All those plane flights and amenities...WALKING WALKING WALKING...the Camels and Birds, and the Arabian(?) horses. Buy some scarves and things from the bazaar, eh? Great Show Mike.
This was a fantastic adventure. Just when you think it's over, there is another surprise right around the corner, and even more after that. Can't wait for next week!
That experience in the ancient city is cool. What a great idea to get people involved in the history rather than just walk thru a museum. Museums are great, but experiences make better memories 😊
I lived and worked in Kuwait a few years back and when I had to make a business trip back to the United States I intentionally booked my route on emirates on the A380 - I spent most of the flight in the back lounge with a few other passengers. It was amazing! Of course...sans polaroid back then, what the heck!
Can’t help but say I think you’re bigger than life. You bring me so much joy. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I look forward to them!
Wow, thank you! That is such a kind comment. Thank you Julie! Have a great day!
So happy you’re keeping an open mind and taking opportunities when they’re presented. Visiting new places, trying new foods and experiencing different customs/cultures and traditions can help you gain an appreciation for diversity.
Mike might not be larger than life, but his adventures sure all❤
WOW!! Mike, so amazing to be able to "share" the experience with you...I have never seen anything like it! Safe travels and thanks for taking us along... 🙂
More to come!
Mike, love the content and the way you go into cultures as well as the trips. Your definitely adding to the bucket list
What a cool video man! I’m excited to see what’s coming next week 👀
And very happy to have shared this experience with you 🙏🏼
You too, Lucas! Meeting you and Stephane made the week so much more fun.
See you again soon, I’m sure!
What a fantastic experience! Very cool. As always, thanks for bringing us along, Mike!
Wow Mike, what a great adventure! Thank you for taking us there. I have some new plans coming up I see.
Mike, you are the BEST!! Keep doing what you're doing, my friend!!
Wow! Another new and unique experience. I just love traveling with you. Keep up the good work. WONDERFUL!
I'm VERY glad I found your channel! It is one of the best on TH-cam!! It's more like a television series than just ramblings of places you've been! I can't stop watching!!✌🐢
Loving the new experiences and the new locations Mike. Keep travelling and taking us with you.....looking forward to next week and the next adventure.
I like how he goes around and does things that we probably don't no about🤔🤔
Nice! As a former employee of Polaroid's Credit Union.....LOL A Polaroid picture...priceless!!
Right?!
Can't wait for next week, wow just wow. And the outdoor dining lounge OMG, everything just everything.

0:36 I love this ‘80s Edgy Guy Hairstyle we have here.
Love the Padres decal at 10:51 , greeting from San Diego!

Mike you do such a great job to find all these trips of yours! Keep up the great work!!! That A380 is HUGE!!!!!!!
It’s so big!
This was so amazing to see and you are so blessed to have experienced this adventure and take me along
I love watching people going to different places! It is so entertaining! 😄
Love the historical reenactment, that is really cool and a fun way to bring the liveliness into consideration that those ruins once had in their heyday.
Your videos always make me feel like I'm right there beside you. What a fantastic experience!
Incredible. Loved this video and can’t wait til the next instalment. And business class. Love it. That’s the way travel should be for everyone.
What a fantastic opportunity for you. I glad your enjoying it and sharing with us.
So much of that scenery just looks like someone built it for a movie set! It almost doesn't look real. Absolutely incredible!

You do the coolest things! All the beauty surrounding you, it deeply saddens me that there is war near by. We need peace and brotherhood.
Your channel is my bucket list! Keep up the good work!
Now that's is what you call an adventure! Can't wait for next week!
Thanks Mike for another great adventure. I can't wait for next week!
We just never know what adventures we will discover next! How awesome! Thanks Mike! Stay safe!
I strongly recommend you to visit Najran since you’re already in the country (it’s my hometown and it’s really worth visiting)
Mike, this is adventure plus-plus-plus!!! Such great fun - thank you!
My favorite channel man! Keep it up and keep smiling.
Man that is beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing. Alula is a very popular place right now for its ancient discoveries that are being found.
Its a good day when a Downie Live video drops!
Amazing adventure! I would have never expected scenery like this in the desert! Thank you for the invitation!

What an amazing trip Mike! You’re one lucky guy. Keep up the good work.
Wow Mike just incredible, what memories you must have, and the buildings created so long ago by hand.
Sure does look like Utah, where I live. You're right, Michael! Thanks for the trip!❤🎉
Man went from showing Vancouver parks to getting that arab money..big ups
Except I didn’t get paid any money for this video (just gifted free flights by Red Bull), but I see your sentiment, and honestly… that Vancouver Park video was when I almost quit.
I guess you never know how far you’ll make it one day.
Thanks for the support.
What an awesome trip! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for another great upload as always.
I loved the softy ice cream remark because there is free ice cream in the Dubai tranfer terminal as you might know
I'm in complete awe of that open-air restaurant toward the end of your episode. What a unique experience this is for you, Michael. Have a great time!
The flights looked amazing. A little jealous of the travels, even though I never would picture myself going to Saudi Arabia. Enjoy your videos because you make them fun and educational as well as enjoyable.
Their PR team worked hard, but I had to quit watching this. RIP Jamal Khashoggi.
Now! Now! You don't hear any of the locals complaining like this! 🤐🙄😱
Such unique experiences! Love it!
Our pleasure!

It sure seems like they're ready for tourism. We were welcomed everywhere and it seems like tourism based development is well under way.
@@DownieLive Thanks for the response! The places you went in this video looked a bit like tourist traps, and not even ones designed for English speakers. @DanielleGlick oh yes. There is so much open desert space. But… I’m not sure what you’d do out there…
Thank you for sharing another video with us.
Love this .. what a beautiful spot ! Excited for next weeks full episode !
Very cool! Did you know camels originally came from Canada and their closest relative is the moose. This was on a PBS special.
Thank you for taking us with you! Wonderful Area 😍
That is awesome. Freaking cool. I only be able to travel once in a while that is why I always look into your youtube channel.
What an adventure. Glad you had a good the.❤ Prayers to stay safe. 🙏👍

Mike, you certainly get about. I love to see people living their best lives. Are you ever coming to Scotland?
I am this summer!
@@DownieLive Cool. I hope that you have an amazing trip. If you're needing any suggestions of where to visit, just ask.
Wow this has been the most magnificent video you have shown to date! Stunning!
Thanks so much 😊
Awesome video Mike! Thank you for sharing.
You bet!
This by far is the top 5 of coolest places you've been. I still love your Porsche driving on ice experience
I agree, those 2 trips are some of my top experiences.
LOVE these journeys that you share with us, Mike!
Wow...what an experience. Thank you for sharing with us....Look forward to you interesting videos each week...❣
This one was well worth the watch. I suggest a few events in South America. Just look up a few for a future adventure!
Wow, this was a nice suprise ❤
Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
💛💛💛 Thank you for taking us with you! Without you, we would never be able to experience it.
Congratulations on your nuptials and your new home.
This is why I sub to this guy he shows every part of the world and in any video I do not miss at least 2 seconds
Somewhere in the middle of the video you said you didn't know where you were going, so I had to add, but you hope we are going with you! Thanks for another great adventure!
I did too! 🤣😂🤣
I've come to feel that when Mike says he doesn't know where he's going next, he actually has an idea but doesn't want to give anything away.

Thank you June! I'm not planning on going to Jordan anytime soon, but it's definitely on the list. I'd love to see it. One day.
Awesome that you get to go to the launch of the aston martin F1 car!
Ohhh!!! This will be thrilling no doubt! I cannot wait to see this.

I’m a FA ✈️…Emirates is top notch. You were truly blessed with these pricey tickets and they blessed the right person 👍.

Awesome! Thank you! I really appreciate that.
What a fabulous experience! Lucky you!!
What an amazing place...can't wait for the next video
The sunset through the rocks is what got me.
OMG same!
Just a casual Apache and Black Hawk sitting at the airport 😂
Absolutely amazing adventure so far. What an interesting cultural experience that was.
Wow! What a nice experience! Thank you for sharing and enjoy!💛
Thanks for coming along, Diane!

Can't wait!
Loving the vlogs 🫶🫶missed u after two weeks glad ya back
Falcons are just such gorgeous birds. I got to hold one in Abu Dhabi. Incredible.
4:12 I remember going here and obviously ranked with anxiety that I’m going to lose something or get lost in the vast expanse of this megastructure.
Beautiful place!!
Oh my goodness. Fabulous.
Wow that looked amazing Mike
