The turtle would probably produce some sea-sick beats ☠️

Nice! You definitely inspired me to check out Shifter, as I am certainly guilty of sleeping on it in favor of Echo and Delay. Overall, totally agree: Shifter is awesome, it does way more than I thought it did, and I’ll probably look to it now more often than before. Buuuut…it does seem to be missing one thing I use a lot in Delays: ping-pong. Am I right, or am I missing it? If Shifter had ping-pong, I think I’d agree that this may just be the perfect all-in-one stock delay. But without it, I’m still gonna need Echo pretty frequently. Thanks man!

I’m with you! I’m such a sucker for ping pong delay. While it isn’t a proper ping pong effect, you can create a similar sense of width/separation with the LFO and/or Window Size. The Width control also gets close. But a dedicated ping pong switch for the delay would be much welcomed!

another thing you can do with shifter is to make scratchy sounds by changing the window size in realtime, kinda fun to play with

Great shoutout! It would be fun chaos to assign to the Window Size to one of Live’s modulators!
