Also this was foreshadowed when Michael said that at the end of his runs he pretends hes running for his son's life and it makes him push harder. Then he had to actually run to save his son.
So poor Kofe suffered the gas torture from the bent cops , handcuffed to a pole for hours in a room and not knowing why, spent all that time in the cells, and the terror of almost being killed when that camera shut off in the physical room, and then died a painful horrific death through no fault of his own. And the actual person that killed Rocco got to continue life and even starting sleeping with the sister. Yep. Adam had to die. After Kofe died there was no hope or anything left in me to wish to happen in this story. Moral of the story: Just do the right damn thing, because that which you fear will happen no matter what. Manipulate, exploit, abuse situations all you want but death will come when it has to. Consequences. Rest in Peace to all the real Kofe's and God give strength the ones wrongfully in jail today.
This is a recap, not an explanation. The explanation of what happened is you lose your moral equilibrium when you don't let karma run it's natural course. I was hoping you would go into detail about the note Judge forged, which got the audio played. Although it played on the emotions of the Jury, and was probably what secured the not guilty, the Judge seemed like he wanted ALL of the Baxter's to immediately realise it was Adam. He had just discovered Adams relationship with the Baxter girl. It seemed like a phycological play, like "It was actually my son! So you can't exactly kill me in good faith now, but your daughter LOVES my boy, so you can't kill him either!" Adam was the BAD/EVIL energy the entire series. He killed the Baxter kid and covered his tracks, got his HONOURABLE father to help him cover up the mess, burdened his guilt on his teacher/lover, dumped her for the sister of the boy he killed. Carlo would not have killed Kofe for any other reason, it was justified because he believed Kofe was responsible. Kofe's brother didn't hit his target, but he hit the RIGHT ONE.
Remember that Adam actually tries to turn himself in after talking with his father but his father stopped it. He wasn’t entirely bad, he was riddled with guilt the first half of the show. His father continually talked him out of owning up to it. He just became comfortable with the lie. The judge wanted to keep his son alive. Lots of people would be willing to hurt others to protect their kids. Leaving the boy to die is evil, no doubt though but he did try to own up to it.
@@strafer8764 You're mistaken. After saving himself (from Asthma attack) he left the scene, did not answer the return call from police dispatch, went home and tried to get rid of the evidence. He was feeling fear of repercussion, he was never remorseful. He told his Dad to share the burden. Probably knowing deep down, that his HONOURABLE father would fix the situation. It was the Judges idea to hand himself initially. Had he not realised that it was a Baxter that was killed (while they were in the station), the Judge would have made Adam say it was him. If the accident was handled accordingly, I don't think that Adam would have even gone to jail and I don't believe the Baxter's would have wanted revenge. Vehicular manslaughter with mitigating events (the asthma attack), he would have gone to drivers safety and a few years probation.
@@ceoshadez9580 yes but after his father convinced Adam to turn himself in, they were LITERALLY there to do exactly that, when his father instead talks him out of it because he realizes it's Jimmy baxter
I still wonder who was in the black SUV when Adam killed the kid driving and when he went back to take photos. Did I missed something, or was it never revealed? This person was a key witness.
Yes I also thought would get answer in the end. Even Adam didn't specify it to his father. I thought that would be the blackmailer. Bcoz the guy with the green Camry really didn't seem like the blackmailer. They wanted to show some link between the accident and Adam's mother's murder. But couldn't join dots in the end.

The global contest for most disliked film/ TV characters of all time: Jenny - Forest Gump Grandpa Joe - Willy Wonka Choc. Factory Skyler White - Breaking Bad .... now EASILY a top contender: Adam - Your Honor
I found it interesting that the 1st and 10th episode featured a 17 year old gurgling to death on his own blood. If you think about it Eugene actually did shoot the person that caused his families deaths.
Both of Adam’s parents got him killed. His mom contributed as well because her affair led her to the neighborhood where she was murdered and where Adam committed hit and run on the anniversary of her death. Great show. Great ending. I don’t need a season 2.
You can’t just let Adam off the hook like that. Going to that neighborhood was still HIS choice. Leaving the scene of the accident is on him as well. Then the never ending stream of stupid, selfish, reckless things he did after the hit and run. Like hooking up with the victim’s sister and willingly going to her family’s party where he ended up getting shot. He was incredibly stupid
@@kena322 The guy did not once show any remorse instead he wanted to fix it by stalking the sis😡 then he tried to get rid of the teacher Who wasnt shown again after the scene with Charlie! but my Word the guy was just despicable and awfull In every way 💯
I liked the subtle commentary about black lives being disposable to uphold white privilege. Michael using Lee and getting her fired. Kofi...self explanatory. The mom and three kids and the Baxters being like oh whatever nobody cares about them anyway. There was one scene that really drove this home. When Adam got in a fight at school, his grandma said “don’t let his life be ruined by one mistake. He’s just a kid”, and in the previous scene Kofi told Lee that a judge told him he was a thug/criminal in training when he stole a candy bar or something when he was ten years old. This show had so much commentary that was so we done because it was so subtle and didn’t beat you over the head with it. But it worked that way because in real life it’s like we have become so accustomed to “that’s just the way it is” that we are blind to the inequities of our society.
Bryan Cranston's judge reminds me of Walt becoming Heisenberg. The son is unforgivably clueless, I found it nearly impossible to sympathize with him by the end because his decisions are so poor.
I liked the show. Not every story needs to have a happy ending. I just wish Adams character was a bit more realistic. Boy would have ruined his life way before the hit and run. Lets not forget he was sleeping with his Teacher. Boy is just messed up in the head.
I think the fact that Carlo was acquitted was not believable, especially after the tape was shown of Kofi stumbling out of the cell. Very sloppy. I was so happy when Adam died. He had no remorse in my opinion. He started a relationship with the sister if the boy he killed. Pretty selfish.
@Mal Mort So because you're in a dangerous neighborhood and the locals made you scared, they deserve to die? Well your stupid comment made me fearful of you who resolve situations without critical thinking so you should be next on the chopping block.
@Mal Mort Thanks for your thoughts. I just said I was glad his character died. Did he deserve it? I never judge who is deserving of death. To me, Adams character spiraled into the worse person. He pursued a relationship with the sister of the boy he killed. He agreed to meet the parents of the boy he killed and smiled in their face. He hid his relationship from his dad while his dad put everything on the line to save him. He was such a terrible person.
@Mal Mort I probably wouldn't recognize that as love. If someone had did to me what Adam did to Rocco's sister. Being with her but never honest about what he did to her brother sounds more in line with selfishness than love. It sounds manipulative too.
I personally think this show is brilliant - one of the best crime dramas I’ve seen in a while: Great, but not excellent. I think people who criticize the series for dumb characters or the progression of the plot are missing the point: The idea of this series is not to show perfect choices or the most clever or logical humans - the complete opposite, in fact. Often times we don’t make logical choices and act irrationally, which is exactly why the show ends the way it does. Aside from the plot, however, Your Honor does an astonishingly good job at building tension with the writing, camera angles and the tension created with conversation, music and pacing. Whenever you think what’s going to happen next, the show throws you in the opposite direction. In a way, this is what makes it so good. It goes along with the aforentioned theme of bad choices, which makes it thrilling and different. I hope there is not going to be a second season - you can tell the ending was intentionally written to leave loose ends. It is up to the imagination of each viewer to figure out what comes afterwards. Regardless, the series is ultimately on point at showing though faced with difficult decisions, different actions always have consequences.
@@ktom5262 dude it’s absurd that a kingpin’s son is gonna choose one of the roughest ghettos in the country to ride through the same time another well to do kid is also driving in the same ghetto. Not to mention no one comes to an intersection at an hour no one is asleep and witness a brutal hit and run. There are small towns that have more traffic. That’s the inner city of New Orleans.
@@strafer8764 also just the fact the guy he happened to hit was a king pins son. And the whole case being blown open for the detective because the homeless guy at the cemetery just happens to really care about the date 10/10, Jimmy threatening to harm Adam for seemingly no reason other than to give the storytellers reason to have Michael there when he gets shot, also the fact Adam just gets shot randomly on accident, in a roundabout way it was Michaels fault but the dozen degrees of separation between Michael’s actions and Adam’s death just made it feel so forced. Several of the story threads go nowhere too, the blackmailer being some guy who’s just immediately killed off anyway despite wasting a while episode on him, Adams mum is a cheater for basically no reason
@@pennyblue6372 if that was the case they’d have made that a plot point early on in the show, to show that Michael is protecting his son from realities and consequences. Doing it in I think the penultimate or last episode was entirely pointless if that was the reason, we already knew Michael was protective over his son at that point because the last 8 episodes had been him covering up a fecking murder for him
I thought it was a very well done series. Not many likeable characters, but extremely well acted. A barely recognizable Maura Tierney as the prosecuting attorney was a nice touch. And Michael Stuhlbarg was truly menacing as Jimmy Baxter. He would have fit well into The Sopranos!
Brilliant writing.... what an incredible cast. I know more than I wanted to know with this recap. Indeed, a parent WILL do more for their children's protection than their very own without a doubt Like Brian Cranston, I WOULD. Period.
It was PERFECT, that kid got what he deserved, completely absent minded...his dad doing all these extra things, people getting killed left and right, to protect him, def not worth it. If his son wasn’t such a dislike-able character then it wouldn’t of been such a “he got what he deserves” moment at the end. I cheered haha 😂
@@JeMand.Anders he made a mistake and didn't do shit about it except put himself in a position to get killed by being where he was and his father killed innocent people over his son that turned him too into garbage. And because he didn't do anything but fall down the rabbit hole of corruption he lost everything. Karma gave them all what they deserved.
Great breakdown, it makes the ending not seem as bad as I thought it was. Last episode seemed a bit rushed in my opinion but it's definitely an ironic ending and probably how the show should have ended.
There has to be a season two the follow up of Michaels wife murder mystery , the black SUV thats seen Adam hit Rocko and Eugenes life after and Detective Nancy and Charlie !
They could do a lot of interesting things in season 2. I think Michael would lose his mind and think he payed Eugene to kill Adam. I feel like he would go as far as giving himself up to make sure jimmy gets what he deserves not knowing he had nothing to do with it.
@@sinatraskitten Exactly, it had promise in the beginning but terrible story writing and shitty acting on Hunters part really ruined this show. Now that the season is over, they could rename this from Your Honor to Adams stupid decisions and how every episode after the first one was based off his previous on-going stupidity. The kid was supposed to be 17 years old yet he was treated as and acted like a 5 year old. I was very disappointed with this shit show to say the least.
I hope so. The basic plot was.intriguing and despite the problem I had with Adam’s dumb decision to get close to Rocco’s sister, I liked the plot twists overall. Acting was stellar, anytime I can get to see Bryan Cranston dig into a character is great.
Probably the only show in the past year I've counted down the hours until the new episode. As soon as SNL was done it was Your Honor time. Hoping something as good comes along soon but I doubt it.
I watch the first two episodes and it got to real for me when they raided the boy’s house, then terrified and tormented his mother. It got even more real for a black kid to go to prison while the white perpetrator walks. That same story angers the hell out of me.
Hi, my question is who was in that black SUV which was following Adam in the accident scene and it comes later on too, this thing is bugging me bad, anyone with a possible answer please help me get out of my misery :P
I wondered that same thing! And also, why Adam never told his Dad when he told him all the details.. It was just like I told my mgr.. The whole REASON for the accident was due to Adam freaking out when he realized he was being followed and reaching for his dropped inhaler. Otherwise, he could have pulled over and just gotten it.
I thought the black car was just someone following Adam, he did get lost going to the place his mom died, it couldn't have been Desire or she would have gone after both Adam and Michael
Probably the Guy with whom Adam's mom had an affair.. He probably recognized her car as she was the only one driving it at the time, and followed it. and then didn't want to get involved as a witness, because it would have brought the heat on him with Robin's murder (Adam's mom).
For everyone talking about the black truck... don't forget it showed up twice in the season. It has to hold more significance than just chance. It's never even been brought up again in the show past the rat couple of episodes. This show has too much to be developed. This entire show is full of protagonist. Even Carlo himself evolves in the end to save himself. Even the mobster father changes during the series. There has to be more.
As always your reviews are so much deeper and more layered than any on youtube. I need to you to explain all of my top shows! How about Servant? Snowpeircer?
A lot of critics bash the show but I thought it was amazing. It did leave a lot of things in the air and a lot of loose ends untied. But nothing that a second limited season can't fix.
Love this series. Great ending because it was not what I saw coming but still love surprises. The judge did what I think most people would do to protect their children. Really enjoyed this series and hey...I would not mind a season 2.
Mixed feelings about this. Adam was a wet and frustrating character, he kind of got what he deserved, but it was Carlos Baxter I wanted to see shot. I don’t feel closure was done properly
I thought this series was brilliant. The best since Homeland. Bryan Cranston is brilliant as usual. Jimmy was brilliant as well, I thought. The soundtrack was riveting. I watched each episode twice. Adam was so naive, his killing at the end was the only way out really. The whole story focused on how much a father could love his son and what he would do for his children. Jimmy seemed to love his daughter unconditionally as well. You could just feel their pain because of their brilliant acting. They have a season 2 with the judge going after the bad guys and redeeming himself this way. Eventually locking Carlos up for life.
I didn't like this show too much, but it was pretty alright. It felt like a real karmic show, I liked its premise and the tension as well as wondering how it will all end. The performances were amazing.
Great vid. Im surprised this series isn’t more well-known. Season 1 is pretty much perfect. The writing sometimes gets a little schmaltzy but overall I was seat-glued and fascinated the whole time. So far season 2 is awesome. I wish more people knew. Hopefully Netflix pulls it together for an S3.
It was good...really good. But off the first couple episodes it could have been amazing. A character as bad, and selfish as Adam would be dead or in jail wayyy before this season started. He's too wreck-less, to the point you don't even believe he would do MOST of the things he does.
I think Adam was symbolizing white privilege. That part when his grandma said he shouldn’t have his life ruined for one mistake (fight at school) was a great contrast to the previous scene where the judge told Kofi he was a thug in training for something he did when he was 10.
@@elnorakelly16 I get the white privilege taking place all over the show, it's even shown when Adam is bloody and looks suspect, but the cops don't stop him after he hit the kid in episode one. But theres another level of stupidity, and recklessness that goes beyond race that would have gotten him killed long before now. And that was Adam every episode!
I don't want a season two but they have too many story lines set up. Maybe a spinoff ish. 1.The black guy becomes mayor (he's such a great actor I would watch). 2.The young kid mentioned cleaning money through churches for the Desire club. 3.Lee has a great story, and wants to see the kid get free of the gang. 4.The judge..The Baxter's
I just binged this show and had to come on to see what the "internets" were saying, I'm very surprised that so many people found Adam unsympathetic, SO SURPRISED. I sympathized with him moment one and hated the narrative that he just left Rocco to die. Even when the Baxters realized it was him, there's no accounting for the fact that he called 911, but couldn't speak for help. I really felt sorry that the writers decided he'd die gurgling and gasping for breath like it was divine retribution...maybe it was...for Michael. Adam was just another casualty in Michael's bad decision making. Adam feared for his life, justified or not, he couldn't breathe and instead of securing his air by finding his inhaler, he abandoned his fear and his own life to administer CPR and call 911. The story that didn't pay off was that ominous black SUV that kept showing up. They obviously had time to take pictures of the accident, take note of the license plate number to try and extort Michael after hearing the news story. That would have made more sense than an irate asshole waiting to pump gas who was suspicious enough to record the car ahead of him (before seeing blood on the shirt). Adam ALWAYS felt wrong about not being held accountable. He wasn't just having some good time in life. He even entered into this very dangerous arrangement with the sister all because he wanted to personalize who he killed. He was very sorry and it was a clear mistake. He was obviously a child and not a sophisticated criminal. While I understand Michael fearing for his son's life when seeing the Baxters at the police station, he's the judge and he should have been able to think through the scenarios better to know it was better to tell the truth, if not in the beginning, certainly when Kofi was murdered but unquestionably, when Kofi's family was murdered. He should have also let Carlo go to jail with that last interaction with Jimmy understanding that, for him, it wouldn't ever be over.
Brian Cranston is the master at playing actors trying to fix a situation, but the more he tries to fix it, the worse the situation gets due to all the characters surrounding him, also living their lives their way. You can fix something your way, but you can't predict every single nuance in everyone else's lives that cause their reactions. So, in the end Cranston's characters creates so much chaos for everyone. From the bumbling Dad in Malcom in The Middle, to Breaking Bad, and now this show.
Michael going from good to bad all for the sake of his family sounds pretty similar to what other tv show character? It starts with H and rhymes with eisenberg 😂
The irony of Adam's death was both tragic yet genius. Adam is the reason so many people had to get roped in, suffer and die for what he did. It was as if true justice had been served that moment adam was shot dead, even though it was an accident.
We don't see how the jury could acquit Carlo, what happened with the fake note that Michael left on the prosecutor's desk? How well did Michael know the corruption of Charlie? Why did Frannie's character appear and vanish so easily? I'd love to see Kvodo, as I suspect the writing might have been more coherent.
Frannies character just wasn’t in that many scenes. It wasn’t a case of her vanishing and appearing or whatever. I assume Michael knew Charlie’s corruption very well seeing as he literally called Charlie to make the car ‘disappear’ at the start. And the note was about the voice messages.
Plenty of questions, even more then what you were saying. He’s cheating wife, we really don’t know who she was seeing just implied. His best friend running for mayor, looks like he has his on agenda? Massive cliff hangers even if the ending is just bitter irony. We need another season. Plus the main bad guy I was hoping would get it from my breaking bad himself but he’s still alive.
I still dont understand who was in the black car in the first episode who saw the accident? Also a few episodes later when adam shots photos on the accident place there is a black guy. Can someone explain it please?
I absolutely loved this show, especially the ending. It was a magnificent portrayal of a Shakespearean tragedy with Michael as our tragic hero. Combine that with some poetic justice and you have an epic season finalee. I felt nothing but catharsis when Adam was accidentally shot. His death made sense to me. no one annoyed me more as a main protagonist than him, and perhaps the development of his character was meant to be this way, so that the viewing audience feels an extreme aversion to the kid and his endless stupidity when it comes to decision making. I tried to sympathize with him in the beginning, though with each episode, you can't help but pray someone discovers the truth and holds Adam accountable. Justice was served. You can't outrun Karma. It always catches up.
I love this critique and loved the series. Interestingly I haven’t heard any commentary on Gina Baxter, Rocco’s grieving mother and the family provocateur. She is relentless and as heartless as her son Carlo. ..the ultimate irony of her character being her devout religious belief system and attempts to convert Fia. I would like a second season just to see the consequences of her actions with Carlo.
Just wanted to say I think Eugene purposefully shot Adam, not by accident. They misdirect us to think he's coming for Carlo. He shows shock because not that he missed but just of what he has done in general
@Sal I'll have to watch it again, but I got the impression that Eugene was able to figure it out. Think back to the judges chamber, when he realized that the judge wasn't driving the car, and he said "then who?".
Personally, the way season 2 ended.. I think there definetely should be a season 3, but unsure if there should be a season 4. A season 3 to wrap everything up would be very welcomed in my humble opinion. Great series, very underrated, beautiful cinematics, should get way more praise
A judge and a criminal are one of the same, they both bend the rules to best suit themselves and will do anything to manipulate those around them into their tangled web. The judge knew right from wrong and should have sentenced his son the same way he sentences criminals that commit a crime. Being the son of a judge doesn't excuse you from the prison bars, I was annoyed that his son knowing what he'd just done didn't try to turn himself in against his father's wishes. The show dwells on the systematic injustice, societal classes and racism that is continuously carried out in the legal system, and those who will exploit the loopholes within it. Your honour is brilliant at shedding light on what one will be willing to do to protect his own, even if it means becoming a criminal to do it.The cast were exceptional 👏👏👏👏👏👏
What's the difference between a criminal that wears a suit and is supposed to be an upholding man or woman in society and the one you see on the street corner, when they both commit the same crime but are viewed in society differently due to their classes, demographics, ethnicity, social and economic status. 🤔
There a huge difference between committing murder and accident. Adam was no murder, he accidentally hit Rocco, tried to save him, ran on panic. Carlo straight up murdered Jones. Eugene Jones pre plan to kill Carlo, that was PREMEDITATED. Yes, he lost his family, but he was a gang member and murdered Carlo...he got "justice" by getting out free? No, he deserved to do time. As for Adam, he was remorseful, felt guilty that's why he hung around Fia. Fia what gave up baby, because Adam accidentally killed her brother? So even the baby paid?...Don't like ending made no sense...
Im hoping for second season with more of the Baxters. I love gangster movies. Adam got what he deserved for not listening to his dad and thinking he could have a lasting relationship with the sister of the boy he killed.
Adam HAD to go bruh!!! What a spectacular way to end it though!! True definition of karma. Died the same way he killed Rocco 🙏🏾🕊 Side note: how the HELL you feel comfortable trying to smash the sister of the boy you killed?! HE HAD TO GO BRO LOL
Extremely dramatic plot with great actors and great characters that hold your suspense in just about damn near every scene. Great show. I think they could end it here and we assume Adam is dead and that would be fine. But a second season where Your Honor comes back and gets revenge on the mysterious gang member in Robins photo and handles more business with the great crime boss Jimmy Baxter would be fun to watch. Would remind me of the Heisenberg that’s in Bryan Cranston. Mostly just love watching him act.
What was the meaning of Jimmy Baxter hugging Adam in the final scene of the last episode? Jimmy forgiving Adam for killing Rocco and accepting him as Fias new boyfriend because Michael manipulated Carlos murder trial toward a not guilty verdict? OR like Michael Corleone in Godfather II, embracing Fredo with the kiss of death after finding out it was Fredo who betrayed him?
This show was amazing from start to finish.I give it a 10/10 and I really hope they continue it.I have a feeling we will see this one for another season in my opinion. It was too good not to do again, but I wouldn't be mad if they ended it on this one.It had a decent ending for a great mini series.
*** KINDA SPOILER ALERT but not really because you already know the plot *** I absolutely HATE Adam with a passion. (1) Adam doesn't think to just pull the heck over for 2 seconds to grab inhaler. After he messes up he runs brining has father into this mess. (2) after the deed is done AND BOTH (Adam and pops) are in the shit together, Adam LITERALLY does everything to ensure they both get caught. Dude is trying to ruin both their lives. His dad tries to bury things and Adam runs around like a moron digging shit up.
I am so pissed the hell off that there has been no season two… This always happens to a very good series that deserves so much more… The plot the twist the suspense everything is in this series… I think I’m more upset about they’re not being a season two then I was when The only soap opera I watched, ALL MY CHILDREN ended.
I hated the ending and found it unbelievable. That kind of Shakespearean twisty ending just doesn't work for most modern stories. It plays as manufactured. The show was already treading on thin ice with the premise. There is no organized crime mob in New Orleans anymore. The city's crime is more the Lower Ninth ward gang stuff. There's no Tony Soprano guys walking around. And in what universe would Adam EVER start dating the sister of the kid he killed? It was just one unbelievable plot line after another. When a show relies on all these unrealistic stories, it signals bad writers. They don't have enough faith in the ability to make a modern story interesting, so they start going for the crappy, soap opera, wild coincidence stuff. Awful writing. Great acting, though. i really thought Bryan Cranston did a wonderful job.
If they had Adam have no idea that Fia was Jimmy’s son for a few episodes would be awesome. A real mind fuck for him and the audience. But as much as I love this show there’s a lot wrong with this show. Not enough to get all the hate it gets but it’s still good. I like the ending but it would have been better had it been longer and we see the aftermath
What if season two (if there is one) revolves around a second trial of Carlo... Now hear me out... Seeing as how Michael never knew that Adam was dating Fia, with that new piece of knowledge, an anonymous source could inform the prosecution of this, requesting a new trial based on the previous trial potentially being biased due to the relationship. This would put Michael on the offensive front this season, and the Baxtor family on the defense. Also, with Charlie being mayor, cleaning out NOLAPD with Nancy, the Baxtor family would have significantly less resources in their favor.
Also this was foreshadowed when Michael said that at the end of his runs he pretends hes running for his son's life and it makes him push harder. Then he had to actually run to save his son.
Wow

I still wonder who was in the black SUV when Adam killed the kid driving and when he went back to take photos. Did I missed something, or was it never revealed? This person was a key witness.
Yes I also thought would get answer in the end. Even Adam didn't specify it to his father. I thought that would be the blackmailer. Bcoz the guy with the green Camry really didn't seem like the blackmailer. They wanted to show some link between the accident and Adam's mother's murder. But couldn't join dots in the end.

@@abdullaahiahmed8924 We can respectfully disagree. It’s fine. It’s a TV show.
You can’t just let Adam off the hook like that. Going to that neighborhood was still HIS choice. Leaving the scene of the accident is on him as well.

Casey anthony was acquitted. It happens, guilty people that are clearly guilty get acquitted all the time, even if they killed their own child
@@LukavsTheWorld You got that right!! I've been learning quite a few lessons about over estimating the intelligence and goodness of people
@Mal Mort I probably wouldn't recognize that as love.

@@cynthia6924 Could be! However, the fact that they quick turned tail and booked it when Adam hit Rocco could indicate otherwise.
There is nothing to explain people. Even if you didn't finish primary school, I'm sure you got the story.
Best series I’ve watched in years. Number 2 is coming.
Was looking for another series to watch, this one sounds good, thanks for reviewing it.
Looking forward to a second season 👍🏻
The irony of Adam's death was both tragic yet genius. Adam is the reason so many people had to get roped in, suffer and die for what he did. It was as if true justice had been served that moment adam was shot dead, even though it was an accident.
Loved it! I hope there'll be a second season

I loved it! Me and my wife was constantly on the edge of our seats watching this show! Please come out with a second season please!!!
right after the motorcycle wreck, you can see where THE MOTORCYCLE RAN THE RED LIGHT!
Bryan Cranston. Damn! The epitome of the "mic drop..................."
Im hoping for second season with more of the Baxters. I love gangster movies. Adam got what he deserved for not listening to his dad and thinking he could have a lasting relationship with the sister of the boy he killed.
Try Ozark
Loved it.. want the 2nd season !
Adam HAD to go bruh!!! What a spectacular way to end it though!! True definition of karma. Died the same way he killed Rocco 🙏🏾🕊
Side note: how the HELL you feel comfortable trying to smash the sister of the boy you killed?! HE HAD TO GO BRO LOL
I like the emphasis on HE HAD TO GO!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I mean, you seen her? She's gorgeous lol
And not any other horrible people in the show?

Extremely dramatic plot with great actors and great characters that hold your suspense in just about damn near every scene. Great show. I think they could end it here and we assume Adam is dead and that would be fine. But a second season where Your Honor comes back and gets revenge on the mysterious gang member in Robins photo and handles more business with the great crime boss Jimmy Baxter would be fun to watch. Would remind me of the Heisenberg that’s in Bryan Cranston. Mostly just love watching him act.
It was heartbreaking when Kofi and his family were killed. I felt so bad for Eugene.
I would love to see an in depth character analysis of Adam. I don’t think he’s an overall bad person but he’s definitely messed up
What was the meaning of Jimmy Baxter hugging Adam in the final scene of the last episode?

*** KINDA SPOILER ALERT but not really because you already know the plot ***
I absolutely HATE Adam with a passion.
This was a great show. My theory is the bullet that hit Adam was meant for Adam. I knew Adam would be shot as soon as it showed Eugene buying the gun.
I am so pissed the hell off that there has been no season two… This always happens to a very good series that deserves so much more… The plot the twist the suspense everything is in this series… I think I’m more upset about they’re not being a season two then I was when The only soap opera I watched, ALL MY CHILDREN ended.
Season 2 comes out in December, I think it's the 12th but I may be wrong on the exact date
I like the ending but it would have been better had it been longer and we see the aftermath
your forgot, its television. did you expect more from a hollywood giant?
@@LukavsTheWorld Well breaking bad was tv too and episode after episode it never failed.
Your Honor is AMAZING I love this show
