Laowa Proteus 2X Anamorphic Lens Series Explained

Laowa has just unveiled four new lenses in their Proteus 2X anamorphic prime set: 20mm, 28mm, 100mm and 135mm. The lenses feature an interchangeable PL/EF mount, cover Super35 sensors, and you can choose between amber, blue or silver lens flares.

The last point. About using an app with custom 'desqueesing' option isn't available. I am jmusing an anamorphoic scope with photography, sadly no app would support this change in squeeze ratio. Superb video tho.

Definetly not the same optics, considering the substantial size-difference and definetly the 1,5x vs 2x squeeze

That's just subjective based on previous exposure, as well as language, isn't it? Take Arri for example - sounds a bit like a Londoner saying "Arri Potter (Harry Potter)" or a French person saying "hairy baby" ('arri bébé)
