Four people pulled from Lake Michigan in Chicago within hours, 1 teen dead

Three separate incidents on Lake Michigan in less than a day led to multiple people needing to be pulled from the water and at least one person dead.

There is a whole new generation of young people who must be taught to respect Lake Michigan. When the air is so hot it is easy to assume that the lake will be warmer as well. It is not. Colder water gets churned up from the bottom of the lake and remains very cold for months, not hours. It's easy to make a mistake.
