In case there are people who were not able to visit the vr aquarium, this is a record of my full tour so I hope you can experience it as well. It is a really well made vr world with so much care and attention to each member. (Also sorry for the two random cuts, the first time the world suddenly disconnected and the second time Fubuki and A-chan is being shy lol)

Most vtubers tend to do a couple of streams before saying goodbye but Ame has left us with something not just to remember her but the rest of hololive. Makes me wonder how long this project was in the works
Roughly 2 months
When HoloEN started many tech issues and program issues, a lot of them including many intro/outtro of Myth is design and made by Ame, gives many idea of different projects and lead it,Myth will not be the same without her creativity.
Not to mention her own charm, the charm that "get yo mom hype,hehehe, sorry"

It was realistic fishes. But maybe along the way, ame or her team has an idea to make it hololive-themed. To attract more normies in the zoology.
Honestly i prefer the normal, realistic animals. But obviously not like.. big portion of the fanbase. They dont care obviously. They only care when it's about hololive stuff

The BGM of the last section of the aquarium gives me the vibe like if I wait here long enough, I will meet Ame again.
It feels very spacey, more akin to outer wilds to me with the synth in the background, the arpeggio (?), and the emotional strings. Which fits perfectly since ame loved outer wilds and loves space in general. Very fitting bgm to end off a charity stream with Kronii crying 😢
Yeah kronii wasn't kidding it actually feels like you're in a real aquarium.

it;s a joke, indeed, but it feels overwhelmly real.
The music starting up after you leave the gift shop at 39:17 is brutal, can just see in my head, smol ame standing there staring at the tank.
I think what Ame really wants is to create an environment like that. I wouldnt be surprised if she plays a major role in HoliEarth for creating places such as that
That is my theory, Ame is still with Hololive but is a tech VR person for them and working on stuff like this behind the scenes now.

You don't need VR
Although it's call VR chat, you don't actually need a VR set. Just login normally thru pc is fine.
VR for Virtual Reality only stands for that you go into virtual realities, into virtual worlds, like this Aquarium or the SAO world or Tokyo etc. VR Chat is older than most of the VR headsets and can therefore of course be used also with a normal computer. Just the immertia is not as intense as when you use a VR headset. But many people use VR Chat just with their computers.

A neat addition I noticed is the Mel fish and that it's placard is missing but the legs of it are still there.
I missed it, could you show me the timestamp?

@raph8505 first good view of it is around 13:10. It's in here colors and has her bat pin on it. The placard legs/feet are visible next to the hawkfish one a bit later. They didn't really look close enough so I took a look on vrchat to confirm it.

I was there the last night, i really enjoyed the atmosphere with the music, very quiet. I just went to a "world" where was people chatting, maybe next time i will enter alone when i need to concentrate, but i really like read all the refference and hear people talking about hololive stuffs.
I never entered to a VR WORLD, but maybe this is a start, at least to get curious.

Would you say setting it/downloading was complicated or pretty straightforward?
@@raph8505 oh its easy, you use the searching option in the VRchat game. Double click i think Worlds tab and type holoaquarium

Ever since JJK, every time I see an aquarium that one piano song plays in my head. Throughout that entire stream it kept playing in my head. Such an awful feeling to have, knowing an end is inevitably approaching.

In the Blob Fish info panel at 18:00 you can see that the kanji for rain (ame) is highlighted in yellow 💛

The descriptions of each species match each member perfectly but my favourites were Advent (and their relation with other species), Towa, Ayame, Nene, Gura, and GiGi's

I also love how incredibly spec evo this whole aquarium is and ngl I got some good chuckles at the descriptions despite how some are not capable of even doing such irl.
Another spec aspect that I love about this is eventually someone is gonna try and redraw all the creatures here to be probs biologically fitting or even better as Fakemon cuz majority of the creatures here fit as Fakemon (like the Shiori Angler casually spreading dread just by looking at it LMAO)

Last we heard from her membership was that she did some tech internship sometime last year. I guess she want to be average person and only pop up here and there.
Some Holomem was still in college when they first joined like Haachama (joined during high school) or Mumei who all since finished school/college

When you go into vrchat, the game will load into a temp map, press esc and click on world, then find the aquarium.

The world shows up for me immediately without having to search it up. But if it doesnt show for you then try Hololive Aquarium.

Normally when a VR World is uploaded to the VR Chat servers, that world stays there. The uploader of course can request a takedown, but that's not common. Normally the world is just put into private mode (for example many of the VR VTubers use personalized worlds that only they can access.

Not to cause a stir but I have a headcanon about this aquarium:
Certain species used to be in it and some were simply transferred to other aquariums. Let's just leave it at that.
i was out there thinking the skeleton in the rain blobfish was a certain necromancer. And Mel's fish was apparently still there but the plaque was removed

Coco is there as a stingray, Mel is there albiet the plaque for her description was gone, Theres the thought of Rushia being the skeleton on the Rain Blobfish tank, and Chris(a vtuber that was terminated on the spot with her artist) was probably eaten by the fisherman affiliated with the aquarium.
But the Hololive China might be a different story, the aquarium branch probably got closed and the fish was traded for other aquatic animals like the MYTH tank or the COUNCIL tank.
