Our stories are so identical it’s crazy!!! I would love to communicate with you and your husband in regards to building in Bali. I want to finish out these Villas and the small bouquet hotel I also purchased. Get everything working properly Then make my way to Bali.

@@kimiora1 Thanks! We went down the path of a more expensive contractor as we can't be there to physically supervise ourselves. Hopefully the trade off is less headaches!

this is a very cool video an piece of information, I lived in Australia and New Zealand for ten years and I know what type of house standards u expect in ur building, im traveling in December and I will spend a few weeks there as tourist but I want to study the place for a possible future business

Is your land lease extendable, and if so, is the renewal expensive?
Hey. We made sure in the contract that the future price will be determined by a third party. So it is fair for not only us but also the balinese family. It's unlikely that the land owner will agree on a predetermined price for the extension when it's 25+ years in the future. Hope that helps!
I was recently buy a plot here in rural west java. & Lets not sugarcoat, it require red tapes, to "smoot" the paperwork process. Its not much, about 50US$ for 144m². Sadly its a reality in my beloved country. I hope you guys didnt get ripped too much, if there is any. Good luck 🙏

IMB. Which just shows that the building is safe, meets the regency requirements and is to building standard. You will also need this if you ever were to sell your villa. If you're a foreigner I would recommend just paying to get this, so you are left protected by the law.

Nope, but you can lease them for 20+ years.

Depends on the country you are from. For us we pay taxes in indoensia and the difference (indonesia is less then australia) we pay to australia. Tax man always wins!

@@romipenarik1888there's no personal income tax in Indonesia the tax comes from company, business banking term deposits interest etc .
Tax laws are very strict in Indonesia you must report regularly and avoiding tax comes with high jail time
Their(contractor) leverege your money build some villa for long time. n upgrade their price for foreigner.
Is it easy to build a building in Bali or do you have to take care of some paperwork friends And is the fee for a builder in Bali cheap, because I live in East Java and here the builder pays 100-150 rupiah per day.

@@kimiora1 indeed what I know in Indonesia is different from other countries, here to build a house or buy an apartment must be Indonesian, although there are some foreigners buying houses or apartments in Indonesia, it is difficult to sell them. That's all I know and I know from the news but I don't know if it's true or false.

If your contractor sayd 3yr, eehhmn😒😒hard to say but I'll be honest to you Because you Foreinger so they play manage the time litle bit longer.
We stopped mid project for over a year Pak because of covid and to start a family. (We have built in phases) Altogether it has taken us 9 months of building. 🙌
