Thank you so much, you and this video are a godsend! The official XLMoto video was very unclear and you just explained it simply and effectively. Much thanks!
Thank you!!! the metal clip thing was driving me insane. Didn't know how you were meant to use them. I got a length of velcro with my bags and still none the wiser as to what it's for!
Great vid, thanks for posting! I just bought a different brand, but similar, (7/2023) for my CRF250L. Having a load of fun mounting them, as there is near infinite possibilities to secure to the frame or the rack I previously mounted. It's a great "brain teaser", and I enjoy using my creativity to figure it out. I'm a couple hours into the challenge, the bags are on the fourth iteration of mounting. Going for a test ride now, & I bet I will change it again when I get back. Expect that when satisfied with the mounting, I will shorten any long "tails" and melt the ends, for a guarantee that I will not have issues. (One time I had a jacket bungeed to the tail.. It came loose & got pulled into the rear chain, causing the rear wheel to lock up while going downhill at 50 MPH! It was not easy to get the chain off, & back to riding.) I caution anyone about letting the straps go over any plastic bodywork, as I bet the inevitable rubbing of the straps will cause scuff marks.
Thanks!! The metal clips were driving me crazy!! About the XL moto video, I think the straps have been changed since it was made. In the video, she has 11 (!!) straps, while I only had 5 and some bits of velcro (who in the world would tape velcro on their bike!?).
Great video, thank you. I’m struggling to get these on my 125 as less space. The bags are cheap, I guess if we want a perfect fit we should go for the bikes own panniers. Thank you
I couldn’t tell you how many times I watched it and was still none the wiser. It took a fair bit of experimenting but got there in the end. Mission accomplished if this video helps.
Great video! One can also search Dryspec D20 saddle bags on youtube. It is the same set of bags as far as I can see. Just a different brand name on it. They have really good mounting videos too :-). Actually wish that xl moto would sell some of the other bags as well :-). Happy and safe riding out there!
I can’t fault them. They’ve been great, held up well in rainy weather and have stayed a good shape. I’ve used them quite a lot and still in really good condition.

Velcro is a gift to hang something in your house

Excellent video, thanks! I was absolutely ripping my hair out trying to figure out how to mount these bags😂 ride safe! 🙂
Glad it helped, just be mindful you might have some overhang at the back straps, just need to find the best way for your bike to secure them.
Thanks!! The metal clips were driving me crazy!!

I think you’re right. I had the same, the Velcro is safely stored away in the box, I had no idea what else to do with it tbh. 🤷♂️
Hello. Thanks for this. I always thought that some of the straps were meant to be fastened under the seat?
Hi … i dont see the back strap doing anything
Could you PLEASE tell me how to properly attach the 2 side bags together to start with?
Great video, thank you. I’m struggling to get these on my 125 as less space. The bags are cheap, I guess if we want a perfect fit we should go for the bikes own panniers. Thank you
Great, thank you. I also have some pieces of velcro! where is that for? Drive save.
Thank You, it is very helpful movie
Glad you found it helpful
Thanks much appreciated 👍🏻
Thanks, great Video 👍🏻
Appreciate it thanks
Much better video than the xl moto explanation
Thanks, I just thought it could be a bit more in-depth

Thanks for your comment and for sharing that info it really helpful. Stay safe out there.
Thank you!
I have been struggling with this to the point of thinking of buying an adventure bike! 😅
Do you use the 28 liter saddle bag as well?
No I don’t have the saddle bag, I use a Lomo roll bag.
Can you please give an update on how these have held up? Price is almost too good to be true.

Thank you very much!
You’re welcome, hopefully it’s helped you.
Hi. Has anyone used them without padded inserts? I guess it frees up a decent amout of space but are they more unweildy?
They only gave me one looped strap! 😮 I will be contacting them
Merci 🙏
It took you a few hours to figure out that...? Wow...
Took me ages too.
Yep amazing right! I guess something that’s new to you isn’t quite as obvious until you’ve done it once.
that back strap isn't doing much except scraping your paint.
Paint is still looking good. I would also be open to an alternative idea?
