This was the exact trip my wife an I were suppose to do then covid cancelled it, however we are still going to do this trip, so thankyou for sharing your experience it's been great to see everything involved plus the friendships everyone made

Tortuguero is the most incredible place that I've ever visited. The morning boat rides to see the wildlife was the best. Is there still a half-sunken boat right outside of the dock by all the hammocks? I also went wading into the water on the beach side of the island and was quickly told to get out because of Barracudas. I actually saw quite a few of them because they started circling me. Teeth like large toothpicks. True story.
Wow!! I definitely didn’t get to see a half sunken boat or barracudas! Sounds amazing 😻
Ola! I'm finally back from Australia, catching up with your Costa Rica videos! I liked your expression with the tropical fruit. I love these fruits. There's spicy ice cream? I Need to check that out 🤩! No addresses is weird, it feels so unreal. The jungle reminded me a bit of Tasmania, so nice nature and wildlife 😍. Your breakfast at the homestay looks so good! How did you experience the homestay? Will be watching the next episode soon! 🤙

@@travelforphoebe I loved every single second of my trip to Australia! Next time will probably a one-way haha! Would love to live in Melbourne. Most beautiful nature was in Tasmania. Best experience was New Years Eve in Sydney. Gold Coast felt like one big holiday resort, great for unwinding. Brisbane has some great parks, same goes for Perth. Gonna watch your next Costa Rica episode now 😊

We’re heading to Costa Rica for the first time in May and I came across your video. So glad I did and I had to subscribe ☺️!! What was the name of the jungle you visited? And the name of the little spot you ate the empanadas for the second time?
Wow! I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time. The jungle was in the Tortuguero National Park accessible from the Tortuguero National Park Office and the little spot we ate was opposite the Los Pajaros Park. I don't know the name I'm sorry but look out for the lovely lady and the man making local drinks... I'm sure you'll find them if they are still there :) Have a fantastic time!!!

The first fruit you tried is called plum in Trinidad and Tobago...they are sweeter when the skin turn yellow.

Can you please give me information about home stays?
We did the home stay as part of our Intrepid Tour which you can see in the link in the description. I don’t believe it’s possible to stay there unless you’re on the tour as the company develops the relationship with the locals ❤️✌🏼 I’m sure you can find other home stays in Costa Rica though 😊

Hey! It was quite a while ago so my memory is fuzzy… I think we flew from Sydney to LA, spent a night there at an airport hotel then flew to San Jose 😅
