This song broke me. Then I watched her documentary, I cried hard. Then that exact night, I went through the news and heard what happened to her and I wanted to cry more. I am so glad she is getting better now, let's hope it's for a very very long time.

Im glad she put this song out cause a lot of people have no clue what your mind and body go through. It took me overdosing to get help. So kuddos to her for being strong enough to make this public.
what really got me, especially your comment about not experiencing addiction, is that so so so many people have a family member or friend who is an addict or is a recovering addict. it's really astounding how many people this could possibly touch and i'm genuinely so proud of her for being so open and vulnerable about such a HUGE topic going on in the world today. and i've watched that video 10000 times now it seems, and it still hits me how chaotic it is--the flashes of picture and video at the beginning, the graininess of the lyrics. like addiction, it's all chaos and shakiness and it's hard to describe it but damn is it a good cinematography choice.
