Nice tip. I saw this performed on several other videos and your cautions must be followed so you don't rip off the cfankshaft bolt. Thanks. 👍🏽🤠 01/14/24
I have an old 2 stroke scooter and my pull starter recently broke. Its a niche and discontinued brand so I cannot find a replacement part. I guess I'll give this a try since my scooter has been sitting half a year now

How many actual motors have you started vs simply pulled the flywheel nut off ,Jacksss
Ask your mother
Where’d you go boomer?
As he says - absolutely do NOT use an impact wrench to do this - it will snap off that crank bolt in about 2 seconds. Only use a drill.
Ryobi has an ‘easy start’ tool that uses the same principle on compatible tools.
Clever tip 👍
Glad you think so!
Thanks!
Will this work on a Honda lawn mower with automatic choke
I will try it. I'm a woman and I can't get the pull needed to start the weed eater. I will have my brother here Incase I have a problem
Do you have to disconnect the pull string first
No.
Forward or reverse?😊

He didn’t start anything.
@@ruthbrandenburg7995 it did almost start. which gives you optoimism. would have loved to hear the purr of the engine.
tape that socket onto that drill or it might go flying.
I did that once and it broke the nut off in behind the flywheel had to get new cran so don't do any more.
