Thank you. I thought I missed something for a second and I've watched the show twice but then I thought they are clearly different characters, but I was doubting myself cause I don't know why they thought they were the same.

Hori's little brother is the GOAT for bringing those two together.
A thing to remember is that Christmas in Japan is more of a date holiday similar to Valentine's Day here. It adds context to alot of what the couples in the episode are doing. Like Toru being weird about inviting Yuki over cause they're not sure about where there relationship is yet and everyone being mad at Sengoku for not wanting to go out with Remi on Xmas when they've been dating for two years.
Hori's mom and Toru's helper are 2 different people.😂

Watch Horimiya "the missing pieces ", it is everything they cut out of the manga to only make 12 episodes instead of 24 for S1 because they didn't think it will be so good of an anime... it even has a little of Horis parents backstory

I find there's a lot of details about the characters that are in the culture nuances. Horimiya follows a simple storyline yet so rich in details.

I'm glad that Toru and Yuki aren't dating yet, it just feels weird if he's dating Hori's best friend right after Hori rejected him, I get that was like a year ago for them but for us it's just like oh Toru got rejected by Hori don't worry here's the second place prize her best friend, it's fine if they get together later just so narrative wise this past year is to let his feelings for Hori fizzles out and build up his feelings for Yuki slowly

I would recommend (the dangers in my heart). You are guaranteed to like it. This is the best romance in my opinion.
bruh 3rd time that i am watching thata show , and idk dude , ITS JUST DIFFERENT , NEVER get boring , it always gets you heartwarming etc creates u some nostalgia and some lasting too its just THE BEST ROMCOM there exist dude ngl it just hits different , i hoped it had 2 (REAL) Seasons or more but it sadly was end story from the 1st season and 2nd season is just some filling episodes from the manga that were cut down in the 1st season , afff fk me man why just a good show has to have only 1 Season which only like 13 episodes not even 24.. meanwhile there exist anime like RENT A GF for example who are having 3 seasons are kinda MID (altho not really bad) yet still going ON , and this is a masterpiece and ends there.. so unfair :v
If Miyamura wants Hori to keep smiling, all he has to do is smack her once in a while.

Rascal is good.
Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You is good (in fact, it might be the best that others have recommended, just make sure you go in _completely_ blind. I'd like to talk about the series' virtues, but to even speak about them generally involves giga-spoilers. In fact, don't even watch the subtitles for the opening theme).
Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is also really good.
One that I haven't seen recommended yet though, is Higehiro. All of those are really good, well-written pieces of fiction, and aren't just mindless fluff like a lot of things out there are.
