We don't heat kalonji oil in this recipe and regarding onion oil, we can use infused onion oil and though it is effective, it spoils faster so I prefer this method and it is effective

Dear friends, this onion and kalonji oil is awesome for promoting new hair growth and treating bad spots but try to use cold pressed kalonji oil for best results. Though you can use kalonji infused oil (got by boiling kalonji seeds in oil), cold pressed kalonji oil extracted from the seeds will give the best results for this oil. Cold pressed kalonji oil is got by pressing the seeds in a machine without any heat to retain all it's nutrients so it is hard to make it at home. If you are interested, I have given the link to the cold pressed kalonji oil that I use in the description box....

I don't use non stick cookware Madhu and I would highly suggest not using them and yes you can use cast iron, I use them a lot too....:)
