Wow, that's a lot of Holy Wrath...😊 Love the beginning, the opening choir nailes it...it's exactly what I have in mind everytime I think of the Adepta Sororitas. I just started to dive deeper into 40k and this faction is my biggest interest beside the Necrons. Greetings from Germany! May the Emperor guide your dice!
Just started building my sister's squad this week and I am super excited. I think they are my favorite models ever, so many details. Looking forward to hearing how your army did against Vhotan, they are quite tuff I did play against them a couple of weeks ago. All the best with your army, they look great!
I've won all my 2k games thus far except for one which I narrowly lost to a tournament demons list due to unfavorably random mission. In my opinion every sisters lists needs a few things 1.) Junith and a character with Litanies. Even if you keep them on home point you'll get +1 cp and a miracle dice reroll every turn. 2.) Lots of sacrificial min squad units to grab early points and confuse your opponent by giving them too many bad things to attack. Penitent Engines, Mortifiers, x3 arcos, x2 crusaders, x5 seraphim. My current list has three solo penitent engines and two solo mortifiers (all with saws) as my frontline. 3.) 1-2 squads of flamer seraphim in deepstrike are SO useful now that flamer overwatch is much more viable. 4.) Cassies. Autocannon castigators are one of Sisters best damage profiles, even better than exorcist missiles and meltas. I run autocannon cassies x2 and they do the bulk of my damage into both medium and high toughness targets.
My build for Sisters in 10th is to take advantage of bringing a Sororitas Armored Company to the table. Three Exorcists, three Castigators, Battle Squads with Rhinos to hold objectives and some cheeky Saraphim to burn out anyone dug in on the opponent’s board edge and cause havok.
Heck yeah! Hope it goes well play my first game of sisters and morven+suits were monsters! Morven+suits 3 penitent engines 2 battle sister squads one with cononess with litanies of faith 1-10squad and 1-5sqaud of repentia 5 Seraphim Rhino and a castigater Put the 10 repentia in rhino It was 1500pts vs 1500pts of votann.
Keep the war suits in the rear to protect your sisters holding objectives. They are to expensive and to vulnerable to send out in the first wave. But are fast and powerful enough to crush anyone who slips in the rear.
To consider, if you switch Dominion with Palatine for Canoness with Battle Sister Squad (1 meltagun, 1 multimelta) you get full rerolls to hit and wound on disembarking and all the extra stuff Battle Sisters give.
@@NornQueenAlexis lets weigh it up cause losing Scout may not be as big a deal as it seems: Dominion + Palatine Cost: 185 (130 + 55) Scout 6" & Lethal Hits Rerolls to wound from Immolator 4 Meltagun hitting on 3+ with advances. No ablative wounds before you lose something valuable Simulacrum for Miracle dice on unit kills. Palatine stat line with the mortal wound potential. Split Squad allows both halfs of the dominion to have a cherub Canoness + Battle Sister Squad Cost: 170 (110 + 60) Rerolls to hit from Canoness + Rerolls to wound from Immolator 1 Meltagun with 1 shot hitting 3+ 1 Multimelta with 2 shots hitting on 4+ 2 Ablative wounds before you lose something valuable Simulacrum for Miracle dice on unit kills. Split Squad allows both halves of the dominion to have a cherub Canoness stat line Split squad from immolator allows for miracle dice generation from both halves sitting on objectives (meaning you backline sitters that will contribute nothing actually contribute to your miracle pool) Can take another character support unit in the same squad (Dialogus for 35 points) but this is ill advised. You can decide what you do with that. Personally the sheer fact that the split squad for battle sisters can sit its backside on the backline objective and generate me a miracle dice where a Dominion split squad will do bugger all is something I cant overlook.
They need scout to hide on my opponents turn 1 or to shoot turn 1. As the tanks won't last long enough for them to be effective turn 2+ against a smart opponent. This is all about getting objective control turn 1 then pushing the opponents army back. Also Palatines are cheaper. they are more efficient as auto wounds are better then a rerolling hit then a wound roll. As melta guns kinda suck now. Yes even multi-meltas are bad. So you need to hit fast and make your opponent play defensive while the Exorcists do all the work. Your doms are only a road block and that's all.
@@NornQueenAlexis Melta weaponry doesn't suck its role has just been heavily forced to change for what it was in 8e & 9e. It is still decent its just it can either do one of two things on the table now, 1) punt elite type units of T9 or lower 2) have one shot auto everything (subject to what you are using miracle dice for and weapon rules) to cause potential chip damage against T10 or higher (which with each unit getting 1 miracle use means it can do something but I used that praise lightly). Unfortunately GW has decided that anti-tank weapons are few and far between in the sister's index. Our so called Anti-Tank is still only S10 at best on Castigator and Exorcist and even then the AP is abysmal. Don't get me wrong in all this. I still think Palatine & Dominion Meltagun in an Immolator is a good setup to fast engage then clear an area. I am just weighing up what the backline layabouts are contributing outside of point control. I'm considering triple immolator with 1 canoness + BSS combo and then 2 palatine + Dominion combo cause that adds up to 930 which gives me lots of bodies on the table and a backline unit that generates miracle dice so I get 2 on my command upkeep and 1 on the enemies. 5 extra miracle dices over the game is something decent.
@@RubyVector I see you did not address what I said. Just picked one thing. If you want to play the game differently go for it, but my strategy is just better use for forcing opponents to play defensive and giving the sister player better field control.
I just started building a sisters army and have a little over 1k of models with only the combat patrol built. Thanks for sharing. I really want to know how this works out.
Norn Queen Alexis, if you reading this message. It's time for you to bring out Inquisitior Rosalina Lockwood because the Imperial Agents codex is about be released
Amazing showcase, you've obviously thought about the new combos and synergies in 10th a lot. I only have a 1000 point sisters army but maybe you can suggest what to pick up next so I can play real 40k! Current list: Dominions with storm bolters led bg palatine Retributors with multi melta led by dialogus Battle sisters squad with flamer and heavy flamer 5 sacresants with halberds, led by a power sword/inferno pistol fighty canoness 5 seraphim, 2 with hand flamers 3 Arco flagellants Penitent engine with saws 10 repentia 5 repentia Its a mashup of the combat patrol and boarding patrol with some character conversion and weapon conversion, so I also have a rhino though I don't usually run it. I was thinking either a castigator or exorcist, might be a good place to go next, but let me know what you think :)
I don't think the exorcist is as broken as the manticore or desolation marines but indirect is just stupidly good right now. You don't think having even 1 squad of battle sisters for farming miracle dice is worth it?
Like your Mechanised version of the Sisters, but as a note, the Excorcist is a lot more potentially deadly than simply a leadership buffer - especially as you have three en masse 👏👏✅ Heavy and now indirect fire, filling the artillery-fire support role, previously missing.
I'm surprised you don't bother trying to double up bonuses on the battleline sisters. I'll post my list in a bit but running junith eruita give you a free cp on your command phase if they are alive and its a fairly cheap model for that effect at 100 points and another of 50-60 point characters can run with cannoness palatine or junith on the battleline unit
Honestly, I think you went by the book on this one. The only real issue is that the leagues of votan are heavily armored. The sisters don't have much AP. I think that is their balance. Good enough for mob trash and light armor but not to punch above their weight. Also, I think novitiates are meant to fill out your ranks. They are basically upgraded guardsman. Novitiates are also cheap enough to leave room for sisters to get leaders. The castigator, mech core, and repentia are your best bet for AP. The machines need to be built for it but the repentia are purpose built of course. I am so jealous of your ability to master the rules and work out synergies. I’ve been playing the game for years and I still often feel lost.

the Inquisitor unit that I use for her rules is not to good, that being said she will be in games soon
is there are site where you could order pre painted armies?

What a cute cat
Your list looks a really good strong one. As a newish Adeptus Sororitas player I can't see anything wrong.
Started to collect my army in 9th edition. My army was a custom one: Raging Fervour (Melta bonus) & Righteous Suffering (1s & 2s to wound are ignored).
The collection was 2400 pts and has shrunk to 2000 pts. I done really well against chaos but struggled against xenos in 9th.
Now I will replace some units for better ones. Feel free to tell me what you think.
