Was home many, many years ago. No longer.
Speed camera devices as well as radar detectors are illegal in Croatia, so I was told by local cops.
So, be vigilant. By the way, not all camera boxes have cameras in them - tricks the local authorities play.

👍Thanks for the information and warning, but Croatian police have a smarter job than deal with my camera, which is not banned in Croatia and serves me for fun, and better to prevent than to treat! old folk proverb 🙂. Greetings

I left Croatia as a kid with my Mom to join Dad in Canada, back in 1970.
That was a long time ago, but I tell you, the memories of the place are as fresh as if they happened this morning.
Been back several times lately, but there was a time when I didn't go there for over twenty years.
First time I went, the Croatian guy at the Immigration booth in Bregana said, "Welcome home".
      Fuck me!
I cried all the way to Slunj...Now, I get confused where my home is, is it Croatia or is it Canada...sometimes, I feel it's Canada, sometimes I feel it's Croatia, sometimes neither!
My Croatian relatives don't understand this, they think I'm crazy.
They don't understand how strong the love is for Croatia amongst the emigrants.
Wife and I went there twice; the first time I took her there to show her were I'm from. A year later she convinced me to move there! Well, that lasted only eight and a half months, then she got home sick for Montreal - she's Canadian.
She just absolutely loved the place, but missed her family in Canada.
So, I watch your videos to remind myself of how beautiful the place is!
Funny, when I lived in Slunj as a child, we used to see tourists passing through Rastoke, and taking pictures...we thought to ourselves, "Wtf, what's so special about it?".
      Little did we know then...
      You're down in Ugljan?
Gorgeous island, like all of them there.
I see lots of new houses built there. Must be very popular.
      Thank you for gorgeous videos.
      Nick

@@apscoradiales I understand your feelings. You are a Croat by birth, but you have lived in Canada almost all your life, so you actually have two homelands. Both are very beautiful, but Canada is a rich country where it is much easier to acquire something than in Croatia, but of course childhood can never be erased from memory and so there is always nostalgia. It is good that you have the opportunity to see Slunj, because it is truly a beautiful small town. Of course, I also understand your wife. She can't love Slunj like you. I love to travel, and I record videos so I can see where I’ve been. I visited Ugljan and I really liked it. A lot has been built because tourism is the main economy. If you are patient, you will see the whole of Croatia on my channel 🙂. Greetings

yes like everywhere else because they would not earn money from penalty tickets then even those radar detectors if they are good they see it before then police see it them
