I actually had a thought the other day of “what was that rhythm game based in France from the 3DS?”. Cut to today and I see this in my sub box. Coincidence works in mysterious ways
This is (not so) lowkey one of my favorite channels. Not only do you have a huge degree of variety but you also play a ton of the more obscure games (think Swordcoast Legends) that I tend to gravitate towards. How do you keep yourself focused on these games so well? Do you have some way of structuring your playtime or are you just naturally able to keep your focus on one game at a time? So many of the games you upload I'd love to play through but I inexplicably lose interest every other time I start them up.
Like you, I need to have some kind of interest to be able to play them. For example, I knew AC Valhalla would be a huge success on the channel. Still it took me a year to find the willpower to record it. Usually I focus on playing one game at a time. But in this instance, I switched midway from Lost Odyssey to play this one.
@@benney9074 Indeed, the true motives of MC's dad, the confrontation against the REAL Napoleon, the civilization that built Babylon, and most importantly: when will he and Marie finally admit their feelings and start going out??! Raphael is such a rizzmaster, but why didn't he just ask Marie to live with him from the beginning until they found their parents? Also, Apollo is greek and Diana is roman. The greek Diana is Artemis, and the roman Apollo is Phoebus. Also, Latona must also be roman since Apollo(greek)'s mother was Leto.
Because Marie had a caretaker, Jean François. Since Jean seamed like a friendly fellow, it wouldn't be nice to leave him worried sick. As far as they knew, there was no need for them to live together. Of course, it turned out that Jean was evil all along but by the time he was outed, Marie had already reunited with her mother.
Interesting game, a clip of the first chapter suddenly popped out in my recommendation about 12 hours ago, it's kind of similar to Porfessor Layton with a detective/thief/mystery type, I'm interested in trying it out with an emulator on PC If I'm lucky.
would i be crazy if i said something about the gameplay (minus the rhythm segments) reminds me of professor layton. like even the title of the game is similar
Completed it for the first time recently! The environments, music and animated cutscenes are wonderful but the narrative/execution leaves a lot to be desired. Chapter 9 in particular was far too whacky compared to the rest of the game. I suppose some of the narrative's incoherence can be explained away by the fact that a sequel was intended - I am curious what that would've entailed.
Finally, a full walkthrough of Rhythm Thief that is all in one video. God bless the TH-cam recommendations.
There are secret chapters you can unlock if you get an A on all levels.
Respectively, fuck that

Did you know how to find the rhythm games i missed how unlock them?

Honestly I feel like this game would do well if ported on Switch
Sadly i dont think the company is around still
tbh i found this game as a demo then they gave it a downloaded version
sadly it didnt last long... there was supposed to be a second version but the game flopped even tho it did very well
this is like the only high quality footage of this game on youtube thank you for your service
I would never forget this gem that emerged from the memes and my times, although the ending was beautiful

Is it me, or am I a perfectionist when it comes to a rhythm game like this? I always tense up as if I hope you didn't mess up.
i think about rhythm thief often but haven't seen the gameplay in years. thank you for this! ❤♠
haven't played rhythm thief in so long
Thank you so much for this video, it’s easily the best source for video of most of the game’s dialogue for whenever I need it in discussion!!
21:53 is the best part of the whole thing, hands down
If they made this into an anime it would be super awesome
What makes me more impressed about the game is that Phantom R gets fucking shot
I have seen this video fully before, we'll see when he gets shot(and survives, apparently)
@@Navoii. yeah i also watched it fully im amazed by the twists and turns that the story and game gives
And then just brushes it off and continues on just finelike 10 minutes later???
Great Video! Love to see new Rhythm Thief content.
sad that they never released a aequel to this:(
They set it up for a sequal as well yet we don't get one:(

Yeah, and the fact this game has been a decade old...

Hi, I'd like to ask something out of curiousity. Do/can (your) non-commentary videos get monetized? Thanks in advance!
Forever a super fun title

That's boring, but understandable.

We need get Sega to make a sequel of Rhythm Thief so we can find out what happens
Hey! I remember that one because I already did play Rhythm Thief for Nintendo 3DS when I was lousy of mini-games, but it's kinda of awesome.😮😀
It's neat seeing a story play out, but as far as 3DS rhythm games go, I'd rather go to Heaven than be a Thief.
I have a feeling that Rhythm Thief will get a Switch 2 Port.

Will you do a walkthrough for the remake of ghost trick phantom detective?
Yes.
Also it seems similar to the ace attorney series

That's game was so much fun, still easy when you played space channel 5 though 😂

can you get this game on steam? or is it only available to play on a 3DS?
It's currently only available on 3DS/2DS. There was a mobile port 10 years ago but it's no longer available.
You can use an emulator, I recommend Citra

I think I'll pass that one.
