Thanks for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard about - Weydaniel Organized Dominator (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one off guide for getting 7000 plus project management and business templates minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my cooworker after a lifetime of fighting got excellent results with it.
Thanks. The template has calculations built-in, that enables all the reporting. The calculations are somewhat complex and can make Excel slow, if we extend for 1000s of rows. So, it is limited to 100. Please let me know if there are any questions. Best wishes.
Hey thanks for the video, I need to ask u can we do capacity planning with respect to one location based on my volume trend?, I'm new to this your suggestions. This should tell me based on the volumes I receive how many employees I require to handle those volumes.
You are welcome. In this template, we can enter employee data and then compare the capacity vs demand. If capacity is less, we can add more employees or increase existing employee's availability. Then, we can see the capacity can meet the demand. It's iterative. It doesn't directly calculate how employees are needed. Best wishes.
This is really useful! Is there a way to show the demand in respect to separate projects? Like, Project1 demand and Project2 demand? This would allow decisions to be made between multiple projects and sharing of resources between them.
Current version supports breakdown of demand by only one dimension (skill). If only one skill is needed, then we can substitute project names as skills. It is not a solution if we need multiple skills and multiple projects. Thank you for the idea.
Capacity is calculated using the input provided (resource start date, resource availability per weekday, company holidays, vacation, overtime, resource end date). Best wishes.
Hi Ind Zara, what a great template.

This looks great and helpful. Can you please show the steps to create the template using excel?
Thanks. Glad to hear. I will try to create a tutorial in the future. Best wishes.
I really like this demo..great stuff will use for resource count as a pose to hours to capture demand...why is it restricted to 100 roles?

Has there been any progress towards a solution that allows for multiple projects and multiple skill sets?
How do you compute the capacity hours ?
