Eeeh that's where I'm going this is like a first person srs game it made me nervous . Lol but best of luck hope it goes super smoothly with good results ^,^
I am 27 and I have talked about me being trans to my family dr and I will be seeing an endocrinologist in February to hopefully help start my journey . :)
For Brassard, no. He can do the surgery and remove the hair at the same time, which is one of the reasons why I chose him. Many other surgeons require you to have electrolysis, not actually laser, done before surgery. And I had one electrolysis treatment to see if I could do it, and it was the most painful physical thing I've ever experienced in my life. They literally poke a needle down each and every hair shaft, and treatments would have had to have been at least once a month for over a year. So I was very happy Brassard didn't require any removal beforehand. And two years on, there has been no internal hair growth. So whatever he does works.
If he is anything like his former partner and chief, beware of him. If the surgery goes well, he will accept all your compliments but if he screws up, he will ever admit to any fault. He hasn't got the guts to accept any blame. He will give you any childish answer that would not fool an infant. He will give you lies and try to convince you that the screw-up is all part of the normal process of the operation. Read other complaints on youtube and inform yourself. Ask for complaints of other patients who have undergone his butchery. He will not reveal them and and college of physicians will not do it also. They cover his ass instead of kicking it. He is unaccountable and not responsible for his actions, and he will answer to no one. Seek help elsewhere. You will find equal competence and the added satisfaction of a doctor who has the balls to say that he is wrong.
