Doctor i have been sufferings from ear crackling for the last 1 year after i had covid. I had nasal steroids, antihistamine but nothing worked. My eustachian tube seems to be dysfunctional. Everytime i swallow i hear crackling sound and it increases when i lay down. It sounds like crispy crackling. It also pops when i swallow. It is affecting my mental health badly. Try glycerine and glucose drops 1ml glycerine in 5 ml glucose. You need to prepare after buying from pharmacy. 2 drops two times daily
