Drove down from St Helens (OK, I had to that way for work) and called in for breakfast, excellent food and service, well recommended.
These scrans are so fun - the banter, the camaraderie, the motorbikes. This is what it is all about.

Totally agree with Geoff - Brown sauce on Bacon and Ketchup on Fish Fingers - and I’m from the South! I’m now anticipating a future visit to sample Pat’s Baps (well, at least one of them😂).

Nice Baps! Picking up the classic on Saturday, bet you it will pour down! Still has the fully enclosed mud guards at least. The fitting of the shorter guards is more for aesthetics these days. 😊

Yes they don't build 'em like that anymore do they! As ir happens I was in the Cotswolds yesterday and noticed that mill is posh apartments now, some of which are for sale!
Yes Andy the grab rail is integral to the retro look, especially for us duffers harking back to the original. Lovely content 👍
But you’d have to install extra driveline slop and a scary 110mph speed wobble to equal the original Z1, in my experience. 😊

I was stationed in Spain and loved following my biker friends to various cafes around Andalucia. Now I'm riding myself, but in the States and wished we had little cafes like this around here. Thanks for the fun adventures. They bring back fond memories of my time in Europe. Cheers.

Many times I have stumbled across a great mom & pop cafe or vintage roadside motel on the back roads here in the states. They are true gems, but getting harder and harder to find. Sadly!

As I live just a few miles from Pats Baps I popped along yesterday for their monthly Sunday biker breakfast. Lovely staff. Great food, fairly priced. Brilliant.

I have the RS cafe and it's the most comfortable bike I have owned, fantastic engine, great torque for four cylinder bike. Loves to be riden
Completely agree with Geoff, fitting the oem chrome grab rail is a must, plus a S.W.Motech tail pack as you mate Richy uses - job done! 👍

There's nothing better for the spirit than a decent ride out and a bite to eat with some old pals. I had a chuckle at you fretting about the crud on the new bike. I rode my girl home from the dealership when I collected her, the weather was so bad I actually bought waterproofs from them! The sales guy asked me where my trailer was, when I told him that I had been waiting 6 months for this, he was shocked that I would dare ride it in a storm 😁

I absolutely love the Biker Scran series. Geoff and Dan are legends. I sold my last bike a while ago because of health problems and my interest in biking has waned in the whole scene, but I always watch all your vlogs Andy because of the enthusiasm and general entertainment included in them. That tweed mill is a very unique looking place. "Butter on your baps" sounds naughty to an American ear ( maybe just my mind, sorry heh) as I've no idea what a bap is. Turns out the eclair was the naughty bit. Cheers to Pat, by the way. Those servings would be normal in the US- huge servings. Looking forward to the part 2 of this ride. A "Bap" is a regional name for a bread roll - but can sometimes also mean lady mountains, hence the sniggering....

Was on the Cots just a couple of months ago. Fantastic area that we’ll worth one’s time to throughly investigate. Clarkson’s Farm and market are a great stop along the way!

Enjoyed that, and as I have a friend in MiM I'll be taking a visit. On the grab rail, I think the eye of the beholder lies in whether your lens is of a 'classic' look or a modern retro bike. I think the clocks and bars are enough chrome for me, especially on the SE. Some have fitted a black rail.

I was riding down a busy street in Glasgow last week. Plenty of Bikes parked up on both sides of the Street but the one that caught my eye was the Kawasaki Z900 RS SE in Bumblebee colour. 🐝

Glad your enjoying your bike Andy even in the rain. Got my YB in march and nearly done 6000 mile already and quite a bit of that in the wet its been a bad summer for sure.Had mine ceramic coated and 100% this has worked bike still looks like new and no surface scratches and you need to fit the speed angels over your clocks and Tft. Grab handle is good it really helps when moving the bike around and you can throw a bag over the back seat and use Roc straps straight onto the grab rail which is a great anchor point and keeps the straps away from the paint. Ive fitted the fender extenders they don't really do much the bike still gets filthy but it cleans up really well so no problem. I agree with you on the mapping there isn't any point if your bike runs ok you are better off putting up with any slight issues its not that bad and specially with the bike being under warranty. If you have the ecu flashed then the bike goes in for service and requires any updates this usually clears the flash and puts the bike back to standard that's what my dealership told me and was backed up by my local tuners too so money would be wasted. Only issue ive had is with the OEM heated grips the heat causes the glue to fail and the grip comes loose but fixed under warranty so will need to see if this happens again. 😁Atb

I'm getting Z900RS SE envy 😀. We've also had a fairly cool wet summer in Ontario this year - weird given the forest fires we are having further north. The first service is basically just an oil change which you can easily do yourself or buy the oil and filter and get a local Indy to do it - the oil they use for running in is thinner than the regular oil.
Love the craic between you all. Great bikes, good weather (eventually), super cafe and the Cotswolds countryside......what's not to like. Time for the soapy stuff now Andy.....road crud on that RS is a 'No, No'! Looking forward to your next upload. Take care for now.
