  • Unlike many WWE wrestlers, Kurt Angle can actually wrestle. He is actually an Olympic gold medalist and World champion in wrestling. He signed on to WWE in 1998, and even though Angle often played the villain on WWE, he eventually won the WWE championship in October of 2000.
Angle has had a storied career in entertainment wrestling and has been part of WWE, TNA, and Japan. He has won 21 total championships and today he is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
But behind his success and fame in pro wrestling, Angle has had to endure his fair share of tragedy. Here's the tragic real-life story of Kurt Angle.

Well, yes and no. The video didn't go into much detail. It kind of sounded to me like it was some domestic dispute and maybe he pushed her and she hit her head and died or something like that. Kind of depends on the circumstances. Yes, people should be punished, and I have no tolerance for wife beaters. But it didn't sound like he intentionally set out to kill her. 10 years is a long time, man. The real problem was that it said 2 1/2 - 10. If he got out on good behavior after only 2 1/2 years that's a serious problem. If he does the full 10, depending on circumstances, less so. Obviously this is all imo.

People who commit domestic abuse cases are often high priority targets for beating and murder in prisons. 10 years is a long time to be an entire prison's prey.

Absolutely 10 years or your wife's death while fighting with her is outrageous. Even more interesting is how your allowed to plead to manslaughter when it was a domestic assault

In the US, penalties for manslaughter are pretty low in most states. It appears that David Angle was initially charged with second-degree murder but plead down to voluntary manslaughter (Colloquially known as a "crime of passion"). Considering alcohol was involved and there was a fight, the prosecution probably figured that it would be hard to win on 2nd degree murder.
Better than him being acquitted and protected by double jeopardy. Think about it, is it more likely that he was drunk and got too rough "in the passion of the moment" during a fight, or that he got drunk, got into a fight and mid-fight decided he was going to murder her?
