Nothing stopping you, it's quite a ride. You can emulate it on PCSX2 (PS2 emulator) and have it run at HD settings to look better than it ever did on PS2. After you beat this, go emulate False Bound Kingdom on Dolphin. (Gamecube emulator)
It's needs a multiplayer version so bad. Keep the game exactly the same and add pvp and this game would take back off. It's the last best remnant of old yugioh
I couldn't play this game to save my life as a kid and I really need to go back and emulate it one day, but damn, they went in HARD on the soundtrack. It's absolutely beautiful.

This is a remake from a song from Forbidden Memories so maybe the original was used as inspiration for the Castlevania one and then reused here when they released this game for the PS2.
Considering one of the starter decks might as well be a Castlevania deck, "Patrician of Darkness", full of Zombies, Plants and others to fuse with, along with a "Dracula teleport" with Dimensionhole... you might be more right than you think! 🤔
I would love to see some HD quality tracks from The Falsebound Kingdom too! I think that some of the music in that game isnt just a strict copy paste from Duelist of the Roses. For instance this track is the same as Joey's Boss Battle in Falsebound Kingdom and I can swear there are some additional instruments to the track that are lacking in DotR.
The music of this game is soooooo good, but I cant adapt to his gameplay, I always end up passing the turn or moving my pieces without attacking, and the fact you dont ''win'' cards by dueling bothers me a lot...

Yu-Gi-Oh DOTR easily has the best OST in the entire franchise and is definitely one of my personal favorites of any game in general.

I'm not a big fan of YGO, but I love this game. As a stand alone game, it's a classic.
