Great planespotting at ORD and excellent shots in wintry conditions. I love it! Thumbs up and subscribed! Best regards from Germany to the United States.
Wow. I was supposed to fly out the next day. My flight was delayed because of the snow, and then I assumed cancelled because of the 737 incident. Good stuff.
In the late 1970s there was a stretch of shoulder on Irving Park Road just a bit west of Mannheim Road where you could park, eat some food and watch the planes....until the cops showed up and chased everyone away. Did the same at Meigs Field until that one Sunday night......
It's over by South Cargo, but you need to be a member or be accompanied by an ORD Airport Watch member. Otherwise police will kick you out almost immediately
Why has united started to put so many ewr-ord routes on the 777-200er? Does is have to do with them being replaced by 787’s on international routes they used to have?
No, it's just the demand of the route. I believe that's the most flown route out of O'Hare, so it makes sense to have a larger aircraft to keep up with demand
@@JJ_Skippy It's still viable, but be aware. Last time I was there, we were told to leave by police or else we would get a ticket. However, the Schiller Park police department said it's perfectly fine that we spot there. So I guess spot there at your own risk.
Not really.. Sure, the older models are outdated, but the newer -300s and the -600 are between 12 and 18 years old, which really isn't that old considering airlines fly them until they're around 30 years old.
@@LeppAviation What area is that? The area where u filmed the Westefn Global Airlines MD-11 landing? Are they any good spots that u can go to without being accompanied by someone?
@@t3203 It's on a construction site near the South Cargo area, but it's only accessible to Airport Watch members. There is a good spot for arrivals on 10C though along Gateway Rd.
I especially liked how you identified each airline and aircraft. You put a lot of work into this. Thanks...
Thanks a lot, Joe!
Joe King ùg
U used Flightradar24 right love that app!
Holy cow!!! These views are stunning!! Also appreciate all the captioning of each aircraft!

One of those 787s I’ll be seeing in Phoenix today
MallardDuck Aviation the British Airways one?
Spicy Peppers no the American one. N816AA
MallardDuck Aviation oh okay. I stupidly read it as 747 for some reason.
777s are the best!
Stunning footage mate 👍
Thanks very much!
I flew in and out of O'Hare a few weeks ago. As airports go, it's a good one.
WOW a superb video keep the great work love the plane type, age etc description you have for each plane!!!

Always loved the MD-11's.
Shes a bouncer.
Only if there is an idiot for a pilot
@@gandalfthegrey8236 Okay, didn't know we had a master MD-11 pilot here. apologies sir
Wow, such beautiful sights-- the planes are magnificent and the videography is exceptional.

It appears that the airlines have a love affair with the Triple-7. Good job. I appreciate your efforts.
Amazing planespotting. Liked and subscribed.
16:27 really nice livery!
Can't wait to see the Boeing overture landings soon
VERYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD AIRPLANES AMAZING
Well if the 747 is not really meant to carry the passengers, it is really meant to carry the many types of cargo within its hold. Cannot beat that!
Great Spotting Mate 😉✌
The ANA BB8 livery actually looks pretty creepy.
Norwegian 789 with Sir Freddie Laker on the tail, the best
AWESOME!!
Identifying every single aircraft must have took a lot of time and effort. Liked and subscribed.
What did I miss on the Norwegian landing?
Great footage!!!
Amazing photography
That Boeing go around moment made me think of that white plane with no livery hovering over Washington or NYC on 9 / 11 . Scary 😰
Were is "the hill"? Also, you ever spot from the top of the Fashion Outlet garage? I was thinking of going tomorrow.
If you can you should get to Anchorage. I`ve heard thats the place to see old jets like the MD11 and DC 8s
What day was this specifically? I flew through ORD twice in the past couple weeks
Very nice compilation! Loved the MD-11 and the ANA special. Great spot for landings aswell! :) Where exactly is it?
Thanks very much! It's over near South Cargo
@@LeppAviation Is it possible that you can provide an address?
I seem to see that the wings of some airplanes in flight become curved? I do not look at them flat as When they are on land.
They are designed to be that way upon landing or takeoff for better aerodynamics
Wow ! I’m surprised to see there are « kid Boeing 747 » that have been in service for only 12 years !
My dad is flying in to Chicago today so if you go again you should get him landing.
Not going back today, unfortunately :/
Aww man.
18:18 "HOLEY CRAP" Haha

You found the ANA BB8 plane
Where can you plane spot and see the landings?
Hey nice video compilation, can you share the exact location for spotting. Thanks
12:48 Another GE90 Spool up
Could you do a plane spotting at DSM?
Never seen a Royal Jordanian aircraft.
Wish I saw this many triple 7s at the casino...

Hey, really cool video, but why are there so many Asian airlines? 😂

How do you find the age of a certain aircraft?
Jesse R Flightradar24 or a simple google search.
WTH MD-11 with nothing just white!?!?!?!?!? 7:56
Nice to see foreign countries chose Boeing aircrafts !!!!!
What location do you spot at?
You can read it in the description.;-)
Nice! Does anyone know the location of the hill?
It's near South Cargo, but unfortunately only accessible to members of the ORD Airport Watch
Aw, that stinks. I’m going there in a couple of weeks. Is Scott Street (on the east side, over 28C arrivals) still a good spotting location?

Boeing Or AirBus?
I'm more fond of Boeing, but I do like Airbus!
