Have to say - since I was gifted a mic by my daughter for Xmas, I've been looking at audio-interface devices and the P4 quickly caught my eye. I've watched longer, flashier videos about it, but yours is the most thoughtful, informative, and outright useful video I've seen yet on the P4. Answered a few lingering questions/doubts that I had and I WILL be getting one, thanks to you!
(I'm saving this video for future reference, also!!)

Yes, it’s my first audio interface and I use it with my Shure SM58 microphone for everything-solo podcast, Google Voice phone calls, Zoom meetings, and good audio for real-camera recorded video (automatically synched via waveform in Davinci Resolve).
When I want to use my mic & Podtrak, but listen via Bluetooth headset, I keep Zoom meeting app (or Google Meet) outputting to Podtrak, but have my Windows computer output its audio to the Bluetooth headphones. This might work for you too.
For live calls, I put the free Nvidia Broadcast application between my Podtrak audio feed and meeting software for reducing background noise & room echo for a cleaner sound.

@@melinasparks3268 For live calls/meetings, I set the meeting software (zoom, Google Meet, etc) to use the Podtrak P4 as the microphone input. Personally, I run a software called NVidia Broadcast that processes the Podtrak's microphone signal to do some noise reduction; so I set the meeting software to use NVidia Broadcast as the microphone input. But the first method should work for you. You must connect the Podtrak to your computer using the USB C connection so that your computer can use it as an audio interface. I hope this helps.

Hello. I am interested in PodTrak P4. I want to ask you some things before purchasing.
    1) My main setup is just one microphone and use the audio from my computer, so i will use the audio interface feature. I read that is not quaranteed that it will work with AMD processors. Will it work with mine processor? See attachment please.
    2) As i am not a professional podcaster, i need the recorded file to be saved as an ''One File Recording''. I read that chanels are recorded separately and need editing after in order to create the final mix. Can't they also be recorded as ''One File'', without needing editing afterwards?

Thank you for such a clear guide, I was given a P4 just a month ago, so I'm still learning about it. But I do have a question (I don't use TH-cam as a portal for communicating like this, so I'll be brief). Do you know if the P4 can be used as an audio interface for multitrack playback? Can I export different tracks onto the P4 Smartcard, i.e. a bass track on #1, a violin track on #2, and a keyboard track on #3...and then connect the P4 to the computer so I can play them all back at the same time, adjusting volume on each track as it plays? Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance.

Hi Edwin! I'm not familiar with using the Podtrak this way. Sounds like an interesting experiment, but my guess is no?
Not sure if you can load the tracks onto the podtrak like that and also adjusting volume from each tracks in playback. The podtrak doesn't really playback individual tracks like that. And the volume controls for individual tracks are for current inputs, not playbacks🤔

Thanks for the video. Good content. not to sound repetitive but no one asked "quite exactly" like what my need is. Maybe you happen to know. It's an audio interface question. If I am on my android Samsung Galaxy S20 (its compatible - i checked the compatible phones list) and I go out of the P4 via the USB C output of the P4 and connect into the Android via the USB C input on my android, do you happen to know if I can use that live sound coming from the P4 as my audio input during a TH-cam Mobile Live stream? I think if you connect your phone via the audio jack, you will be able to.
