I just watched one of your coworkers sharing her interview/training experience in your company, and during her interview she got the question about the best customer service she ever received. She told the story about a flight attendant she met when she was a child. This nice flight attendant worked for an airline that is known for excellent customer service, let's call it S airline. Then she went on and said you guys only got ONE customer service class throughout your 6.5 to 7 weeks of training. Then a current flight attendant from S airline left a comment saying they received a WHOLE MONTH of class just for customer service....that explained a lot!

@@ifreakinlovepop CONGRATS!! What you will wear is based on the airline's preference and will be in your bid packet. For regionally it was a little more casual, while mainline we did have to wear business attire!
Yea so your video hands down has to be the best interview questions video I could find. There’s some other good ones but yours was exactly what I needed. I wasn’t expecting answers I just really wanted to prepare for questions so thank you so much this was incredibly informative! Ive got a live f2f interview tomorrow!

A TIP-- when they ask what's your biggest weakness, you can make it a weakness but also make it positive BUT that's what a lot of people do and it has gotten pretty old. SOO you can make it out as a weakness that would be acceptable as a FA but that you know what to do about it and that you're working with it to making it a strength.

My interview is scheduled to be on the 24th of this month. I have been preparing daily for it.
When they asked me.. Why do you want to be a f/a? I said..BECAUSE I LIKE TREATING PEOPLE AS IF THEY ARE A GUEST IN MY HOME! lol...I felt like a moron but it was the ONLY unique answer in a room full of f/a wanna b's! Then later I said FLEXIBLE for one word that describes me! Got hired 3 times with 3 carriers.

Okay I really think that a lot of people at these interviews be lying out their teeth and they get hired and the the really good people just naturally great at customer service be looked over and it's a shame but I know it happens thanks for your videos and your help💕
Yes I agree I think sometimes really good people do get looked over, but that's why it's so important to get your point across and make a really good impression quickly because you only have a short amount of time to do it!

In today's world, i define 'great' customer service as someone who isn't overly apathetic/lazy or rude. I can usually tell if someone is just having a bad day, so I don't expect someone to always be attentive/accommodating. But in recent years the way some airline employees (including ticket agents) act has actually shocked me at the poor level of service (even if flying first class or business class, which I have done on occasion). On the other hand I was shocked at some of the crash pad sites airline employees stay at (especially in Philadelphia), It looked like an Army Barracks in Basic Training (they used to stay at nice hotels).

@@Biddison100 it was basically everything mentioned on the video. They portrayed the utmost professionalism, again like on the video. The questions were pretty standard questions. Tell me about yourself . Why Delta? The Italian part was well all I can say is you have to have very strong command of that language. Im sure you will be fabulous!

I just did a video interview for United today. Oddly enough, the only question they asked that I’d seen before other than telling about myself was something along the lines of “what made you choose to apply for us”. Really nothing else regarding experience customer service and all that good stuff. I made sure to do research on their culture and spoke to that but am nervous regarding all the other questions. 😞

Really hoping for good things. Being a flight attendant is one of like 2 or 3 things I want to do forever so hopefully I can get it. If not, I’ll keep applying until I get it.

Ashley Wrenn ya know, I have to apologize. Went back on the app to reread and it actually was customer service questions, just not the standard “tell us about a time when...” questions. They were still about your experience, just worded different and it totally threw me off.

Natoya Tyndale Yes! The Jamaica thing is super unique and cool. My only tip would be try to be more specific about either who you worked for or what exactly you did as customer service if possible
How do you keep that beautiful smile going for sooo long? I tend to lose my smile when I'm speaking about something serious, like when talking about a difficult customer or a time when I had to go above and beyond. Do you think this will this cause me to lose out on a cjo?

I messed up twice with AA thinking that I did great on the second Video Interview because of a specific question, and I had a f2f via web cam with Delta that didn't go so well...hopfully your tips will help me get better...
