Loved the video especially when u both were in the chopper talking about all.the help and history the fact you both were laughing and having a good time learning how to chop during a busy time for farming was awesome
Glad y’all had a good day and it looked like y’all had fun! Back when I drove the old JD 5400 chopper the most I ever cut was 50 loads in one day. I was chopping really good corn and we used tractors pulling dump wagons, I think we were running 4 wagons, we were about a mile from the pit. I sent more time sitting waiting on a wagon than I did chopping. Choppers are a lot bigger now and I can see y’all move a lot silage than we did in a day. Anyway, thanks for putting this videos out. They bring back a lot of good memories for this ole dairy farmer! 😊
FABULOUS! This was your best video yet I do believe, it was so nice to see you and Lance having fun and being productive! Another channel I watch religiously is tayfarms, you and Taylor are two peas in the pod as you are both very productive and quirky in the process!!!!!! Please watch her she is on Thursdays and Sundays and they have a 70 Cow tiestall barn in Maine
Good job Jamie, you managed like a boss. Congrats from France

That dt 466 is a bullet as long as it's taken care of.
Ask your husband if he learned the hand signals from his dad.
more corn
what kind of motor was in a jd 5830 chopper?
It had a john deere motor but I don't know what the size was.
Do u have corn you will pick or not?
no, we didn't plant any sweet corn this year.
you must have a leak in the cylinder doing the lift. better buy a barrell of hydraulic fluid.
