In the month of December i visited the Nafakhum and experience the thrilling adventure and beauty of Nafakhum waterfall. This is part-02 of Nafakhum Journey Series. In this part, I started my journey from Thanchi to Remakri by Engine boat. This journey is very challenging and tough because of strong flow and big rocks scattered in the Sangu River. But the sceneries of both sides of Sangu River are spectacular.

Details cost and journey information:
1. First of all, you need to hire a Tour guide for travelling from Thanchi to Nafakhum. There is a tour guide committee at Thanchi and that tour guide committee will select an experienced tour guide for you.
2. Then you must enter your full name, address, contact number and submit the photocopy of NID or Voter id card or student id card at the BGB camp/Police Station of Thanchi. Thanchi to Nafakhum tour guide fee will cost almost nearly BDT 2000 - 2500 for 2 days.
3. Then you have to hire an engine boat to reach Remakri from Thanchi, because there is no rowing or paddle boat there. Engine Boat will cost almost BDT 4000 - 5000 (depending on weather and circumstances) for an up-down journey but the boatmen may ask for more. Boat journey will take around 4(four) hours to travel from Thanchi to Remakri. This journey is very challenging and tough, especially because of strong flow and big rocks scattered in the Sangu River.
4. In rainy season the streams of Sangu River are very heavy and it is extremely dangerous journey especially at the place of “Boro Pathor”. In the area of “Boro Pathor” there are big rocks scattered in the Sangu River and strong flows of Sangu River as well. But the sceneries of both sides of Sangu River are spectacular.
5. After reaching to “Remakri” you can either stay at Remakri Bazar or start journey for Nafakhum to stay the night at there. At Remakri there is a small waterfalls named “Remaki Falls”. In rainy reason this waterfall is more beautiful to watch. The cost for staying Remakri at night in tribal house is BDT 150 (per person) and Food cost at Remakri per meal BDT 120.

@@emonsaha1913 If u think about Corona Pandemic then it is not suitable to visit any tourist place...otherwise u can go there, no problem; It is an adventurous boat journey, If u like adventure, then u will enjoy Remakri and Sangu Lake no doubt, but be careful and be safe because of strong flow and big rocks scattered in the Sangu River.

@@md.towfiqulalam889 Yes brother..বৃষ্টির সিজনে যাওয়াটা একটু Challenging and risky, পানির প্রবাহ অনেক বেশি থাকে, Its better to go in winter from November to December but not in march, April...because on that time ঝর্নার পানি অনেক কম থাকে ।

বসা যাবে, কিন্তু নৌকার অবস্থা দেখে বুঝে উঠেন, কারন সাঙ্গু নদীর পানির স্রোত মারাত্মক আর বর্ষাকালে পানির প্রবাহ অনেক বেশি থাকে।

শুধু মাত্র সাঙু নদী ঘোরা যাবে না? সেক্ষেত্রে নৌকা ভাড়া কেমন নিতে পারে?
যাবে..সেটা গাইড দের সাথে কথা বলে ঠিক করে নিতে হবে....কারন সাধারনত থানচিতে গিয়ে শুধু সাংগু নদী দেখার জন্য যায় ক্নেউ যায় না....। তবে একটা কথা বলি, ছুটির দিনে নৌকা পাওয়া কষ্টকর, কারন আগে থেকে বুক করা থাকে রেমাক্রি/নাফাকুম যাওয়ার জন্য । সেক্ষেত্রে শুধু সাংগু নদীর ঘোরার জন্য নৌকা নাও পেতে পারেন......।
@@MahbuburRahmanBipul রেমাক্রী পর্যন্ত কী নৌকাতে গিয়ে ঘুরে আসা যাবে? সময কতখন লাগবে? রেমাক্রী যেতে কী ট্রেকিং করতে হয় না নৌকাতেই যেতে পারবো? নাফাকুম পর্যন্ত যাওয়া সম্ভব না ছোট বাচ্চা আছে। একটু বিস্তারিত জানালে উপকৃত হবো ভাইয়া।
@@rokeyarafi8615 অবশ্যই যাওয়া যাবে আপু। আমার এই ভিডিওতেই তো সব বলা আছে...কতক্ষণ লাগবে, খরচ কত ইত্যাদি। শীতকালে সাঙ্গু নদীর পানি কিছুটা কমে যায় বলে থানচি থেকে রেমাক্রি যেতেও সময় লাগে আনুমানিক ৪-৪.৫ ঘন্টা কারন মাঝ পথে কিছু সময় হাটতে হয়। বাচ্চাদের একটু কষ্ট হবে এবং একটু সাবধানে রাখতে হবে কারন সাঙ্গু নদীর তীব্র স্রোত, আমার এই ভিডিওতেই দেখতে পারবেন সাঙ্গু নদীর চিত্র..। আর দিনে গিয়ে সেই দিনেই ব্যাক করতে হলে থানচি থেকে সকালে রওনা করতে হবে।
