Regarding the Mavic Mini If it's flown for part 107 purposes--meaning any exchange of goods, services or money--you have to be licensed and the drone has to be registered--regardless of size or weight. Nice video by the way and hope adding the clarification was alright.
We use the Matrice 300 RTK in combination with the Zenmuse H20T, P1 or L1 for drone mapping and the Flyability Elios 2 for indoor inspections of confined spaces 👌
I'm really digging your delivery method on your videos!!! They just seem to have a great balance of technical information, production quality and clear and concise delivery!!! Great Job!!!
I came across your channel and website a couple weeks ago... I love your content! It is very educational and easy to understand. Keep up the great work!
the 3d modeling software for the skydio 2 is a lot of $$$ extra something like $3K. but if you have contracts for bridge inspections or structure inspections that's going to pay itself back on the very first job.
There is no circumstance in which you can use a drone commercially without a Part 107 license. "Commercial Use" includes accepting anything of value in return from drone work, even if it is a set of tickets to a ball game. Also, while you might not need to register a drone under 250g, you do if you use it commercially. The exemption to registering the drone applies to 49 USC 44809, which governs recreational use only.
That's good for American pilots, but keep in mind as well, UAVisuals is in Australia catering to mostly drone operators "down under" when talking about legislation and such. 👍
Is the M210 RTK V2 still a good buy for inspections for roofs, solar and telecommunications? Or could the Mavic 2 Advanced work? I love the M300 but both of the previous can be gotten for much less right now.
planning to get one, now playing with Mini 2. Would love to upgrade. looking for something heavier & zoom capability. I use for telecommunication work.
DJI Air 2S (No Mavic in the name as DJI is reserving it for Mavic 3) does not have side obstacle avoidance. Thus not "all directions" Mini 2 no obstacle avoidance, just ground sensors.
Wow Sweeeet Duuuuuude lol very professional best knowledgeable video you are quiet the facilitator if I was pumped before I am super pumped now I am serious about markeying my drone and well I will follow you as long as you keep them coming THANKS you are a delight of profesionalism my guy.
Last December, the U.S. Department of Commerce banned DJI drones. In January of 2020, the U.S. Department of Interior announced the temporary grounding of its entire fleet of approximately 800 Chinese drones for non-emergency operations.Oct 21, 2021. These ARE illegal for consumers in the US as well.
Would these drones be able to see if there was a temperature difference in shipping containers? Would you be able to see if a container had more thermal activity in it??
Most drone thermal cameras will only read surface temperatures. You couldn't detect any temperature variations inside it. However, if there was a container emitting heat from the inside you will possibly see this as the surface temp may change. For example, a fire inside the container will transfer the heat to the surface of the container.
Ok Even a Mavic air 2 can do it better far imagine in 8K with 2-Tb card on it a flighting time of 35 -45 minutos with a solid state battery ho brother you need help
**CORRECTION: Mavic mini 2 does not have obstacle avoidance
agreed
Yeah I'm watching old videos nowadays stay safe out there
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Thank you ever so much. Is there an updated version to this video? If not will you consider doing one?
Working on it! 👌🏽

Damn bro. I’m sure you got a fleet! Great job I’m sure you came a long way to be and have what you got. Great to see that! Congrats!

Great video! Learned alot ! consider making short online course about drone mapping ?
Wonderful visuals, structure and also incredible audio!
Real quick brother: Air 2S doesn't have sideway obstacle avoidance. (I have one. great drone.)
So true.
one thing to keep in mind with the Mavic mini 2 is that it's probably going to be harder to fly in windy conditions.

Amazing research done! Thanks for the effort in educating us!

What about the evo 2 pro from autel?, thank you for your work, very interesting
The Air 2S does not have sideways obstacle avoidance
Very nice summary. I am looking forward to next-gen drones that bring the high end features to the masses

What software are you using with the Phantom since drone deploy doesn’t work with the new screen controller?
Excellent video thnk you
Your videos are awesome I will be communicating with you further thank you so much.

You had some bad info on the mini. It doesn’t have obstacle avoidance, and yes, you do still need a full license if flying it commercially.
You don't need a 107 in Canada.

That last part is not correct you can still buy at the consumer level.
No Autel drones?
What about the DJI P4 Multispectral Agricultural Drone???
The Mini 2 does not have obstacle avoidance.
correct!
Would you recommend the DJI Air 2S and Mavic 3 for drone inspections? Or better the DJI Mavic 2 Pro?
... how would you think the older drone is better? Is this a real question?
what about the phantom 4 rtk? or evo 2 pro
Missed Aerovironment Puma, 3hr flight time crazy zoom. Casual 80k though
😮 a wee bit out of our budget 😅
Thank you for sharing

I'll make you one? But I haven't seen a good one yet?
Excellent!!!
How much the last one?
Why no Autel?
What was that gas detection stuff he mentioned?
When someone farts and no one claims it
what best drone to be donated to Ukraine with thermal, FLIR and infrared sight?
What's the best liability insurance to get for a drone business
I'd recommend go to a broker but get insurance that covers Public liability and hull cover!
This video just gave me so many reasons to become rich! Lol
Awesome video but now I want to go spend $30K on a drone
Hahah 😅
I did a roof inspection on my roof with a mini 2. Much safer than me getting on a ladder and walking around on the roof.
How to get customers! ? LOL
What do you think of the DJI MAV 3E?
