For a 4 cylinder these do have a good deep sound to them especially in person. It's nothing like the previous TT V6, but it impresses me.
The old V6 sounded incredible with the performance exhaust. Like you knew something special was happening when you heard one start up.
I just picked up my GLC 43 this past weekend, love it so much! It does pack a punch, and is fun to drive!
Is it comfortable over roads imperfections?
No rear tinted windows huh
@@Dashcamfailz yeah so far, but with run flats there will be some road noise of course
@@tdub25nope came without tinting due to every state having different regulations. I’m getting it tinted next week though

AMG hybrid..... it's like non-alcoholic beer. Doesn't make sense.
The 43 is not really hybrid... it's the same engine as the CLA 45 S, there's no electric power to the wheels, the electric system just spins up the turbo, I think this makes sense for the 43. The 63 on the other hand is an actual hybrid with partially electric drive which I understand being less thrilled about.

I am telling you, having heard both, the previous twin turbo V6 absolutely sounded better. The performance exhaust absolutely howled on it that machine and the pops/bangs and burbles were so loud. It ripped these deafening upshift farts if you happened to be beside one with your window down.
I love the new interior and all 100% but I’d take that “old” v6 any day. One of the best sounding SUV’s around.

It’s not really a hybrid though is it? It’s a mild hybrid setup like the m340s from bmw but are those hybrids?

Beautiful car but with the customer reliability and satisfaction ratings being near the bottom of all manufacturers, I would think twice
Huge disconnect between people who make these type of comments and actual buyers. Mercedes' customer retention rate is only second to Porsche just over half of MB customers getting another one.

Is it softer to drive than the x3 m40i?
Baby AMG’s ride more serious than M40i’s. like the suspension is very tight and firm in Performance+. I love M40i’s but these AMG’s feel more special, even if the M40i were to edge it out in handling somehow. Sadly BMW took away all the nice sounds from their M40i’s too which breaks my heart.
@@TheLumberJacked Definitely agree, I owned a GLB 35 and have driven X3 M40i. The baby AMG was firmer and more refined and precise feeling in handling/chassis, and the AMG interior touches feel more special for sure. Not sure about this GLC yet but I ordered one so I will see soon. Maybe not quite as good in straight line performance but it feels better to drive. The full M is probably a different story.

AMG or not this thing is a snoozer. Fancy interior but meh overall. Once yoy get past the luxury and status bs, its a little lame outside.

Fast though. But I’d rather have their old V6TT. It was beautiful sounding.
