      Robert Brown so how come in other countries it's very rare to be homeless???? It's only this damn country where we have the resources to get people off the street and don't use them.. instead we're creating more problems and spending billions on unnecessary bullshit...
      We're the only country that throws away food that can be saved for another day or given to someone else... I've been to many countries and I've never seen people waste as much food as I've seen in America... and before you think about disagreeing with this I want you to visit one of the local schools in your city and ask them what they do with their leftovers...

      Bella Darling I dated an Asian for three months and I was very good to her but she dumped me because I wouldn't pay for her College. I should have seen it coming because you text me about three times during that three months we're together telling me that I can't afford her. I found that an insult because I make really good money. 2.5 times what my friends and family make.

      Bella Darling That's exactly True.In fact You know that sort of Reputation is more towards Black Women.And I'm even saying that's not Totally True.But it is in some cases.And it also can be applied to any Type of Women.But Women that are Asian or Afro Asiatic based Are actually more Home Grown Countryside Villager Types.But there is a small percentage of Them Who Street wise and are Vixen like in Nature.But like I that can be applied to any Type of Women.Bottom line is This Man is very very very Fortunate.Because You and I both know that had He been with Ole Keisha from Compton She would have been left His Black Ass.Because Most Black Women leave a Black Man for the Slightest Reasons.So the Whole Homeless thing wouldn't even have came about.

    In San Francisco, software engineers are living in conversion vans even as they work to build our technological future. Housing is so expensive in San Francisco because wealthy foreign investors have relentlessly bid up real estate prices. Judge not lest ye be judged.

      Karim Bennett I have a simple solution, LEAVE SAN FRANCISCO!
      If you're already living in the car, then you have nothing holding you back from leaving, if the man really has 2 jobs a weeks pay would supply gas to drive anywhere in the United states in search of work, there are jobs everywhere for people that want them right now.

      Worst part is that these investors pay no taxes (other than property taxes, but I'm talking about taxes on hoarding assets). Many other countries outright FORBID outsiders from owning any property, or if they allow it, tax them heavily so much that it becomes unfeasible to own anything unless you actually are actively living in it. America should do the same. Instead, the administration wants to heavily tax middle class citizens more as the solution.

      Is a husband and wife supposed to never have sex because theyre poor? Thats they inly way to insure no pregnancy happens. Not everyone wants to risk dying or NEVER having more kids because they had an abortion. Seems cruel for one child to deserve to live because we have money and the other ti deserve to die because the parents dont. Had a couple as friends once decide to end a pregnacy because they couldnt afford the baby. Broke their hearts they wanted a baby girl hopefully and she got pregnant by fluke. The week after that the wife got a raise and the husband scratched 40k after taxes on a 2 dollar ticket. Drove the wife away from him because she went through the trama of aborting over money.

    I had a two bedroom apartment in the Oakland foothills for $850 in 2004; Along with my roommate we could afford this place working at Home Depot. The same place now will cost at least $2,100. Now I live in central California working as a nurse, and even on a nurses salary Its still very expensive to live in the bay. Prices this just shot up overnight. It's not even enough housing stock, landlords know this and, are able to ask for unreasonable amounts of money for rent.

And because of their carelessness, these poor children have to suffer.

      Sometimes life is going beautifully and then all of a sudden something happens out of your control! You don’t know if they have always been struggling! They could’ve lost their jobs due to staff downsizing etc! You don’t know enough to sit back and so quickly judge their entire situation. It’s easy to plop a one situation fits all to someone else’s situation but death, divorce, job loss, disability....those things DO HAPPEN.

    I'm from California (born and raised here), so I can assure you it ain't easy living out here without a decent salary. With that being said, these folks have got to leave the Bay Area for the sake of their children's lives-the cost of living there or most of California is far more expensive than other states. I will never understand why anyone would want to live in California if they cannot afford it. Unfortunately, some folks don't realize the implications of relying on 'em government grants.

The dad, is not a dead beat dad, as stated on this video, he works 2 jobs, while trying not to lose himself in giving up completely. The mom loves her kids, You can see that in her eyes. If I had seen this family in a mall.. I wouldn't even think they were homeless. I don't see how anyone can afford to have 4 kids in San Francisco. Most of his income is going to go toward supporting the 6 of them and not rent. It's like having a part-time job and being single. The sad thing is, it is probably cheaper for his wife not to work and take care of the kids, with the cost of daycare being so high. It would be pretty vicious for her to stick 4 kids with someone she knows without paying anything. Perhaps, I wouldn't judge him so harshly if he drove anything but a Ford Taurus. Those things break at least once a month, and they will be lucky if it lasts the week.

      Exactly, this is the biggest problem with poor people. THEY MAKE BABIES BEFORE THEYVE MADE ANY MONEY.
      I didnt have the first of my 2 kids until I was 34 and had over 75k in the bank and medical insurance. And I never earned more than 20k a year ever. I have been retired since the age of 50. From smart investments of that money I saved.
      You have to sacrifice when you are young when you are born in the ghetto like I was. Americans are rubbish at saving money. This needs to change.

      Listen too many Americans LIVE ABOVE THEIR MEANS. If they make 80k a year they spend 80k. There is no saving culture in America. What a smart person making 80k plus or even 40k should do. Is live like the make half that much for 5 to 10 years. And SAVE THE DIFFERENCE. PAY YOURSELF FIRST. I payed myself first for 12 years. And saved 51k. While never earning more than 20k. So no one has an excuse.
      I know people in their 40s on over 60k. Who have been working for years. And cant even show you 5k of their own money. Like WTF.

      I am a landlord. Rents go up because insurance and property taxes go up every year. Also, many tenants leave damage to the home when they move out. One renter brought a dog into the house and ALL the carpeting had shit ground into it. The wood trim around the doors was chewed up and all of it had to be replaced. The cost of the damage exceeded the amount of all the rent that I collected from them. The security deposit didn’t even come close to paying for the damage. No insurance covers this. Add in the mortgage payments the landlord makes and you can see why rents are as high as they are. I didn’t even factor in the maintenance costs and my time and labor. P.S. Even the carpet padding had to be replaced because it was saturated with urine. You can’t wash that out.

      Okay but are there jobs in Ohio that pay enough to afford those empty houses? Everyone keeps saying just move but you still need to live somewhere with a job you're qualified for to afford to live there too... IMO they need to break up tech corporations so they aren't all concentrated mainly on the west coast. It's turning into a nightmare and people who work in tech don't really have a choice but to be trapped in these areas. Look at what's happening to Austin, Seattle, and Portland now... These industries need to expand outside of the same 4 cities.

    It's ridiculously expensive in the bay area. I have a good job in the bay area, and I commute 7 hours a day to/from work (longer if the traffic is particularly bad,) and I can't afford a studio apartment. (Even if I could, it would take all of my money and I wouldn't have money left over for savings, basic necessities, utilities, food, etc.) However, that being said, it would be a lot easier if they didn't have so many kids. (Seriously, if you can't afford kids, don't have them. It's unfair.) I can see if they had to move into their car extremely recently after they already had the kids, but according to the video, they were living with the mom's mother. That's hardly a situation where you should be popping out more kids because they obviously couldn't survive on their own as it was. The baby is extremely young and likely conceived after they were already car-bound. It's irresponsible. Plain and simple. I don't feel remorse for the parents at all, but only for their kids. There are other places to live than the bay area, especially if you don't have a particularly lucrative career.

    • @jessedutton3269
      @jessedutton3269 7 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      Lakota828 you may have a good job but like you said if it's not lucrative career there are other places to live. You kinda contradicted yourself there. Also if you are commuting 7 hours a day you prob live in Sacramento or something it may be more expensive to live closer but if you work an 8 hour day you may as well cut your hourly wage in half because your commute doubles your work day. If all your money went toward an apartment where you work you could spend that other 7 hours on your own business increasing your income or fapping.

    • @kaycon4823
      @kaycon4823 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Word to the wise. Kids are very expensive, much more than pets.
    I have a decent city job with benefits and pension and now my wife will enter the workforce very soon just in case. After I have my second child, I opted for a vasectomy.
    Shops permanently closed as far as I'm concerned. No more kids period.
    Again, kids need a lot of financial, emotional, mental, and physical resources. People need to make sure they can afford kids before having them.

      I will contact him with someone that can help him help himself. You have to step out on faith like I did five years ago. You can find you an apt and do everything over the phone. I speak comfort, strength, provision, and protection over your family. You will overcome this keep your head up God is with you.

    I salute this man! He loves his kids and is doing his best to keep this family intact. Hopefully they can get into an affordable place soon. Out there is no place for kids.

    No one working a full time job should be homeless. Let alone two.

    Update? How about Rep. Pelosi reaching out to help them since she is House Majority Leader representing San Francisco. How about Mayor Breed taking action?

      You really think politicians can snap their fingers and save everyone? Suddenly the homeless and hungry are all taken care of?

    The Bay Area is hella expensive to live in today. Average rent for a 1 bedroom is $3,000 over there, most people in americans can't afford that!

    Why stay with a man and continue to have kids with him if he can't put a roof over your head? This does make me more thankful for the things I have though.

    This is a lovely family but I will never understand why people feel the need to have more children than they will never be able to afford! I come from a large family but those days are long gone, only have what you can afford!
