Mounted tom sounds like the bearing edges on this particular drum are not right because even with the Remo Coated Ambassador heads it sounds very choked and lacking tone and sustain. I really wish the drum companies would sell these kits with the option of no snare drum. How many agree?

Buy the pdp new yorker…. It s without snaredrum and will I m sure you will get the sound you need. For me pearl sounds fat….and i love it
