Hi! We are Phil and Alex! After leaving California in an RV, traveling full time, and helping our littlest with an open heart surgery, we've settled down in Tennessee. We found our homestead land and are learning each day how to live a more sustainable life. We are a family grown through the miracle of Adoption & Infertility Treatments. Our precious daughters are Kinsley Grace (7 years old), Callie Jo (6 years old), and Cassidy Drew (2). Our passion is to encourage families through infertility, adoption and building stronger healthier families. Thank you for tuning in! We hope you are encouraged!

Kevin said they have 12 acres and Phil said they have half that.

Y'all are basically creating your own "village" and I think that is wonderful. Tell me, is there anything a person with disabilities can do? I am 66 and on oxygen 24/7 and must use a walker to get around. I think it would be a fabulous experience if you could invite someone like me, into your home for a week and show them they can still be useful around a homestead. Teach them to make butter and sourdough bread. I'. still trying to figure out the logistics of collecting eggs, milking a cow and tending a garden while using a walker and wearing oxygen tanks.
Bet 'cha that's not a ministry you ever thought of! Truly, if you were able to give an opportunity to someone who feels useless! Ah, what a blessing.
Your friends are amazing people. So knowledgable and kind. I cannot even think about you getting rid of Wesley I started having tears when you said that Alex. He is so sweet and I cant think of him and Buttercup being apart. :((

I so wish I could go honestead I lived canning tonatoes that,came from our back yard. ...but alas I'm allergic to all the dealt nightshades. But I'll come on over can yours.Its just such a joy. I baje bread, I knit , I'm a great cook ....honestly I'm my start if my se I or years wish I could teach children this stuff Its getting to be a list art
I've been watching you since your Calif condo days. You have accomplished so much in a short amount of time. Your friends are fabulous!! Like attracts like 🤩 Do your animals give your land a farm smell? How far do animals need to be away from the home? I am very new to this homesteading topic, so these are basic questions, I know
We have the same "community" concept with those who live with disabilities. It's amazing how much we all share with each other. It's the vital link to be able to help
I had the privilege to be a teacher assistant to students with disabilities! I have the deepest respect for these Parents! I absolutely Love these students!
Wesley is beautiful. How can a cow "hold back" milk? Will Buttercup be upset when Wesley moves? You are creating the life of your dreams!! So well done and I am happy for you!

Despite it being colder in California this year compared to recent past years. I just ate my first winter tomatoe that I grew.. The best tomatoe ever!!🍅

Community is the thing I miss the most. When I was a kid, you knew everyone on the street where you lived, we used to go visit the older people for a cup of tea etc.
Now I couldn’t even tell you names of the people who live just a few doors away, sad really.
