This team thrives off drama. The last 4 off seasons have been a rollercoaster, from the Kyrie/Gordon/horford leaving off-season, from kemba’s knees, Covid season, Danny ainge/brad Stevens. They’ve been through adversity and always found a way.
JB only looks better than Tatum because defenses treat him like the 2nd option. Once defenses load up on JB like they do JT, then people will see the difference IMO.
Showtime The Smoke video came out today of Klay Thompson praising the Celtics as a 2-way great young team that had the Warriors on the ropes. This just confirms to me that the Celtics will win it all this season, no doubt!
brown is a good shot getter tatum is a tough shot maker. good shot getting is what you want (more sustainable). but in high leverage situations against playoff defenses that take away the easy stuff, you want the ball in a tough shot makers hands. I still think JT can become a good shot getter too. JBs chip is the best thing we got going rn. hes gonna carry us at times. he'll push tatum to be better and more efficient, and give us some heart
I think Jaylen is a better efficient scorer than Tatum , but Tatum has a better all round game in terms of defense , rebounding, playmaking, and can be just as good as a scorer as Brown , while also getting most of the double teams
I think they both have the chemistry and they aren't slefish with one another, tatum will accept browns leap this year but tatum will exceed his expectations this year as well. Hope to atleast get back to the eastern conference finals this year.

Those who he is in support of try to use that as a pedestal for his game on the court to the extent that they now believe Jaylen is superior on the court as well. It's become absurd and it goes back to the beginning of last season. I mean he's in year 6 now and only has 1 all star while tatum is now a perennial all nba player. The conversation between those two on the court is not as close as people make it out to be

griffen will get about 20 mins vs sixers tomorrow--he can defend embiid better than horford--who would wear down playing embiid most of the game--griffen is SLOW--but he can defend against the big players in the east
ime was kind of a father figure to tatum and brown--and he kinda put a stop to some of the bad behavior--the complaining etc---they are not intimidated by mazzula(though i think he is a good guy)--so your gonna see more of that crap unfortunately--ie. tatum getting tossed last game
