So yeah, here's another remix! Sorry there aren't any fancy custom visuals in this one, but don't worry! I already have one like that in the works, but for now you'll have to suffice with the thumbnail which, fun fact, is my first remix video to contain a drawing by me rather than official art. Spirit Phone Font by tumblr user Noodlesonbread.
Anyways, a friend requested I make a remix of this song, and I thought it would be neat if I centered it around the actual Rhythm Tengoku Arcade machine, which is why this uses the games it uses and also has the overlay at the bottom of the screen. holy shit i just noticed that:
1. "like i was going to war" had Marching Orders, like the military
2. "perfect patient lines" had Rat Race, the rats are in a perfect synchronization
3. "and pretty soon it's gonna fit in your hand" had Toss Boys and the ball getting clapped
4. "now they're painting on my skin" is Power Calligraphy, ya know paint
when he was talking about driving kids to madness it turned to toss boys as well which also seemed intentional and Clever seeing as they're kids(?)
this might be a stretch but i think spaceball too? “you can’t see me behind the screen” because the camera zooms out or in, so you can’t see the space batter, and “i’m half human and half machine” since the space batter wears a mask/changes their appearance and it seems to be less human?
and whenever he said "you can't see me" the screen didn't show the baseball dude

I love how a lot of the portions of the remix relate to the lyrics
sure the timing is amazing but my favorite thing is you synced the soldier minigame to "like i was going to war"

I dont play rythym games and i had only heard 2 trucks like once before and i got recommended this and now i listen to lemon demon but i still dont play rythym games because broke and also i am shite at them-
Without a doubt this is one of the most well-done RH fan videos I've seen. The fun into, the ramping difficulty, the fact that the minigames match well to the lyrics and themes of the song, flow smoothly, AND transition well into each other... I love this! I definitely want to see more videos from this channel!
4:04 why is this part so damn satisfying?
I really appreciate that in keeping with the song, the remix pulls a lot of nasty tricks with suddenly switching games and demanding very specific timings. Especially that break in between showing the onion and actually plucking the hairs, and the pauses created by game switches you need to match in the quiz one

i adore the song b am hyperfixating on the fact that there's a Rhythm Heaven arcade machine somewhere in a Round One arcade and I need to see it.
This is by far the BEST custom remix I saw (it's also funny that I was both into rhythm heaven and Lemon Demon as I saw this)
I see very few remixes show back-in-forth action between the games (which is quite common in actual remixes)
Also, if this were real, it would be insanely hard

Woahhh this is really cool!! I don't really know anything about Rhythm Heaven but you have to appreciate how one of the most prominent games used for this has the baseball player in a box (-shaped room) for safekeeping
Honestly, this game looks like it could have been released on PS1, not just GBA. Kind of like Viv Ribbon or one of those games.
very nice remix! some of the pauses in between call and response games were a little odd but otherwise the theming with tengoku arcade and everything was really cool, great job! (also, welcome to the custom remixed cabinet man club)
