Just a note: Butterfly/Helicopter Clicking causes tension in my wrist too, so I'll have to play around to see which is the lesser of two evils for me.

I recently switched from butterfly to jittering my fingers in a fingertip grip and my aim has improved so much as butterfly forces u into a palm grip (worst of the 3 primary grip styles FOR ME) and my hit reg is way better.

As a person who plays piano this is actually a major problem I faced with jittering(along with not being able to do it), so that's why I also switched to butterfly and in some cases(only a tiny few) butterfly clicking may prove to be useful when playing piano for example, when you need to play a fast sequence of notes in a piece. Also a question related to your piano, what grade are you and how do you view yourself in skill at piano?Also love your content!

You can actually block hit with butterfly clicking, it's just that you may need to swap the right and left clicks back

I am also a minecraft and piano player. Completely forgot that having your arm tense for piano is a bad thing. Although, it doesn't tend to minimize my music abilities at all. I think it just comes down to knowing when you want to play with your hands tense or calmly. On the topic, I'm really interested in knowing how many songs you made so far with the instrument. Basically, this is butterfly clicking, but without the double clicking. You are simply butterfly clicking faster in my opinion since butterflying 16 fast and butterflying 20 with double clicking are both separate things I think helicopter clicking is gonna confuse a lot of us. Good luck with your wrist tension!
For blockhitting you should try playing with normal buttons and click right click with your ring finger while butterflying

You could blockhit with your thumb by repositioning your hand a little. This will allow you to still right click to pvp, and maintain control over your blockhits.

try relaxing and try not to click too fast , if u have a double click mouse that cps will be like 14 or 16 depends

as an experienced butterflyclicker, i'd really suggest that you use the left mouse button for attacking so you can blockhit. (I feel like having your clicks swapped really holds you back when you butterfly).

Holy shit OH NO im a classical pianist too D: I main Jitter clicking pvp but I can sometimes butterfly click pvp. I have faced some difficulties in piano recently after a few weeks of jitter clicking. My hands started to feel tense and I can't really play when the music needs to be gradually loud or loud or soft or very soft my hands would be just really really tense. I wouldnt think jitter clicking would -actually affected me in piano. Should I quit jitter clicking and consider switching to butterfly clicking?

basically my bloody a90, the right click clicks so much faster than the left so sometimes i switch my switches so attack is right click. and it was pretty op but i couldnt blockhit which was a gutter, and butterfly blockhit is very op in my opinion. So i think u should try switching back ur switches to normal and try getting used to it cause trust me block hitting is very op in butterfly

Normal clicking is the best clicking method tbh, best aim and best consistency and it's still pretty easy to hold combos with normal clicking. Jitter clicking is the alpha male clicking method but normal clicking is the sigma male clicking method

A lotta ppl use jitter clicking bcuz butterfly clicking is said to give u carpeltunel but I think jitter will put 2 much stress on ur hand which makes it pain which is NOT good at all. The method which ur using (helicopter clicking) can give u carpeltunel my mouse doesn't double click so I do that but if u have a double clicking mouse use butterfly trust me. Health > Skill.
If you swap mouse buttons then you can use the centre fingers to hit and block then the other finger as normal or bind a keyboard button (but that will be weird when you want to play survival

You can actually block hit with butterfly but Armegon u cant bc ur mouse clicks are inverted but other people can. U just have to use ur index and middle finger for butterfly and ring finger for block hit. its a bit hard so i just w tap

Edit: don’t know if you will be easily able to learn block hitting with switched mouse buttons but you could bind one of your side buttons to LMB that just may make it easier. I’m no expert though
