#4 Just kept asking myself: "In what movie does Alfred team up with Spider-Man?"

Heard of about fifteen, saw maybe seven, recognized four, remembered the titles of two.

I got 17/40 too. Half the ones I don’t know the titles I knew the plot lines but couldn’t recall the name. Tougher than I thought it’d be considering I’m still having my Morning coffee!

19/40 right. Would have been 50% but couldn’t remember “The Peacemaker” title or determine if that was “48Hours” or “Another 48Hours”.

I scored 12 movies. The rest were obscure movies that I had never seen or even knew about and existed. I am more of a film buff from the Golden Years of Hollywood.

Of the 12 I'd actually heard of and seen, I got 8.

20/40. #36 is another example of a tricky one since it comes from a film series. You have to quickly figure out which installment the frame is from. There were also a few films that I remember that I had seen once the title was revealed but which have otherwise fallen down the memory hole.

I'm afraid that in that case, literally the only thing about it that made it stand out was the presence of Chris Rock's character (I mean, they completely waste Jet Li in it). At least for like #2 we have Mr Diplomatic Immunity and 3 has... jeez, I was going to say that 3 had the bomb on the toilet scene but that was in #2 also. If memory serves I went with a Rene Russo frame for that one, but the last two movies are both kinda meh.
I'm having similar issues with some of the movies in the "popular" series. There is just no way to tell some of these Fast and Furious movies apart... I can find something unique in most of the Marvels and Potters, but nothing seems to change in those movies other than the size of the belief you have to suspend.

Literally never heard of 75% of these! And I wasn't living under a rock in the nineties. I'm guessing most of these movies were only released in America or went straight to VHS?

Very possible that they didn't play wide outside the states. I can say with near 100 percent certainty that they all played theatrically in the US but it wouldn't surprise me if some of them didn't get international releases outside of video. Apologies for the ones like that!

@@WordNerdTriviaQuizzes No worries, here in the UK we sometimes get the same films but with different names for some strange reason. The last one I remember was "Ford vs Ferrari", also known as "Le Mans '66" in certain circles!

I don't want to be rude, but maybe that specific timeframe ain't your speed. I would recommend digging a little deeper and checking out the cult/horror ones I posted back in October (though to be honest, I don't think they would be much of a challenge for you).
