I am not getting how those officers escaped the most serious federal charge of violation of civil rights causing death. Facts of the case seem pretty clear: The officers stopped Nichols for basically no reason (they said he was driving recklessly and ran a red light, but no evidence of that -- Memphis news station said officer who pulled him over initially couldn't even say why they had done it). This would be violation of civil rights. Then they pulled the unarmed, nonresisting motorist out of his car and began beating him -- again, for no reason -- causing bodily injury that resulted in his death. So: Violation of civil rights that resulted in death. How can you not find them guilty of that charge? Besides jury nullification, I mean. Hopefully the state will have better luck.
It's not bodily injury when the person died!
I will always remember Elijah McClain, and that his murderers were not held appropriately accountable.
😢 verdict but they still face state of TN. Least they got some prison time
I knew they were gone do this..smh
It's was state terrorism against a member of a targeted community.
It's not a mystery except to journalists.
Thanks for the wokeldygook.
@@bayousbambino427A swing & a miss.

Trump would endorse this! You’re saying you’re glad they killed that man?
Dump Trump 2024. 💯✊US ✊💯
It’s sad that a jury could watch that video & testimony from the police who pled guilty & still find those pigs not guilty on the most serious charges & 5 of those jurors were black… Smh
Free Chauvin
Oh, no. I just figured out what the october surprise will be. Race riots because of Tyre Nichols that will only be called off if Kammy wins.

Let’s be real, that “victim” would have ended up breaking the law sometime soon had he not already, most of them do, that’s their mo, reality, statistics.
Cliché Caucasian logic. You don't know any better.
Let's be real here because he is not a criminal and every one is not a criminal so you're comment was heartless and pointless.
Go back to your Cave. What a stupid comment.🤬
@@imayeseekay There are other races besides caucasian and sub-Saharan African, you know. You just keep swinging and missing.
Tell that to that rip judge in Kentucky
The reason why American clown cops are out of control is because the people allowed it
When keeping it real goes wrong.
At least you tried.
Hope these jurors lay down and sleep good letting these police gangsters off the hook for the real crime they committed, so it is so darm scary knowing that the police suppose to be protecting the good citizens from the criminals and yet they behaviour is the same as the criminals, so i wonder what message are being sent to the bad police out there none whatsoever
