- Two of the former Memphis Police officers convicted of federal crimes related to Tyre Nichols' death have been released and another will remain in custody while they wait to be sentenced.

I always tell people to learn the law or at least educate yourself, I knew they would be released or giving bond, that is how the court system makes their money, by giving bond, especially to individuals they know can afford it.

It’s a shame, our justice system sometimes just overlooks the crimes that are committed by the police just because the person may have or was suspect ed to have done something wrong, those officers have no business walking the streets after what that tape shows them doing, they ran that man down arrested him( beat) trialed him and sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole! But yet still they get to see their families ??? Lock them up!!
all of these three ex mpd officers should get life without parole, if i was the lady that was talking to the reporters i would have the whole entire mpd qualified immunity taken away for exact 15-46 years bbefore the mpd can get it back, with that stipulation that none of the officers doesnt get any type of complaints, if the department does get a complaint then they cant get reinstated until the whole department gets requalified, re training as well for at least 2-10 years

Folks why are ya all acting so shocked, how often do justice prevail, that they take they time and slowly torture and murder and innocent man,but the jury still find it possible to look at those horrible videos and aint see nothing wrong,so why sometimes a guy would actually seem to get the death sentence for little drugs or a weapon, but the so called police thugs get to murder a man just to pass away the time, and they get to go home, Hailey isn't the only one that is still in custody,all five of them took part in Tyre demise,but that is how life goes on this earth, and they ain't getting send up in January either,talk about having some luck, next couple months they may even be back in uniform, horrible behaviour from those sitting on the jury and the judge
