try some green terrors they are just great, also keep in mind which type u want bc theres white soms and orange soms not really much different only one has orange fin tips and other has white other than that they are pretty much the same
Not long term. You can, but would that be best for the Oscar? 75 gallon minimum since the width of it is 18inches compared to the traditional 12 inches of a 55 gallon, which allows the Oscar to turn freely when fully grown.
I never had Oscar but I think a fish must be able to turn easily and can swim a little bit. To stay healthy and grow well. I think a 50 gallons can be ok for one Oscar, but dont put other fishes or a lot of stuff into the aquarium... just the Oscar. Of course a 70-75 would be better
@@yunge9482 but not all Oscars become so big, I think he can keep one single Oscar, without the other fishes he was talking about... maybe he can feed it not much so the fish stay a little smaller
You are joking if you have that all in a 55 gallon lol
Is that a yellow acara? Lovely group you have mate thanks for sharing.
how long is your longest fish?
What are the best small tankmates for Oscar the cichlids? Let me know the species of the smaller ones please? I plan to get a young Oscar

Those are mostly central American Cichlids. Convicts, a fire mouth, and a blood parrot.
I want to keep an Oscar in a 50gal with 2-3 other fish is that ok for a fish of this size?

@@alessandrotavoliere5256 do not put a fish than can get 14 inches in a 55 that’s wild minimum for an Oscar should be a 125

What if your parents didn’t feed you so you stayed smaller. 50 gallon is too small for an Oscar by itself, let alone adding more to the tank
Cool tank brO😅
What cat fish is that
Thats a pictus catfish .. i got a juvenile one
Not enough food buddy, unless ur feeding 3 times a day.
It is enough if ur not overfeeding
What’s that catfish
Maybe I'm overfeeding mine. 😊
I would upgrade to 120 asap
I disagree those fish look happy and fine in their, the only worry is the Oscar getting to big, most of the other fish are fine
i agree with you, but the silver dollar in the left back corner doesn't look the best@@ZEON3513
No definitely upgrade asap 😂
Lol definitely upgrade 💯
@@ZEON3513some of the other fish in there will get the same size as the oscar

good observation and it's a good thing he doesn't
That’s a good thing he doesn’t
Only 1 silver dollar? 👎
You should black out your tank it will look way better
