    This talented guitarist makes them all sound so very good. For me, the Sanfeliu is loud and treble oriented, where both Hausers are very similar, lots of midrange and quality, but for me the Fleta has it all.

    Funny but I didn't read the posted comments here until after I listened to the video and my favorites were the two Hausers. They sounded richer. I also have done a lot of recordings with my different guitars over the last couple years and some of the nuances of sound differences between guitars are lost but you can still hear the differences. Of course the best recordings and playback devices still can't reproduce what you hear live. last, I think with guitars this great you can't really say one is better than the other. All four are masterpiece guitars. They all sing! I also agree she plays beautifully! Thanks.

    Always been amazed at how cello pieces sound so perfect and beautiful on the guitar; even the pieces written for guitar but meant to be played in the style of cello (i.e. Villa Lobos) sound the way a guitar should.

    Like Leonora Spangenberger (Fugue BWV 998), you're part of the very few who really understood what BACH is about. Spirit and inspiration. Thanks for all the beautifull things you gave us on TH-cam. Rossiniana n°1 is amazing. I wish you an amazing career.

    Great progress Adam! 👏 On the repeats it is the perfect opportunity to think about varying dynamics and articulation. You could try a more staccato bass to punctuate the movement in the lower voice, so bringing your thumb back immediately to the string after playing, this can add excitement and energy on the repeats. Soem dynamic contrast would be great also, helps highlight the harmony moving back and forth from A to E.
    The ritardando is great at the end and quality of tone is consistent throughout. Well done! We need to talk about the pinky fingers, but that is for another day.. Bravo 🎉

    All four guitars are rendered useless unless you have such exceptional qualities like this. A really beautiful and powerful interpretation, very inspiring too. Thank you

    The Fleta has a wonderful, regal, extroverted sound ... but OMG ... the Sanfeliu !!! What incredible depth & beauty! If the world were to end tomorrow & you had the choice of one instrument to play, the Sanfeliu would be one of the contenders.

    The playing and her sound is as the way she looks. As for the different guitars:
    Isabella sounds on these guitars as "Isabella" which is no surprise for me as I
    recorded some different pieces on all kinds of concert guitars and they all,
    more or less, sound like me. In a recording process some guitars are shining
    while in reality they are good but not that special. Also it heavily depends on
    the piece that has been played and only a small difference in placing the mikes
    before the instrument can make a lot of difference as well. The technician(s)
    at Siccas always do a great job as well! From my experience the Fleta guitars
    from that period are outstanding which is also the case here.

    Very well played by Isabella indeed. The difference between guitars is almost indistinguishable. All 4 guitars sound pretty close to each other, so I am inclined to believe that biggest part in the sound from Siccas guitar comes from recording technique, mics, strings etc rather than from guitars themselves. It would be really interested to hear them live on the spot to hear the difference. I did found Fleta and Sanfeliu to sound somewhat better, and I am leaning toward the Sanfeliu (never heard of that luthier before), but Fleta sound indeed quite magnificent too. And I was listening through quite expensive hihg-end speakers and soundcard just to catch differences in sound. I suppose codec compression takes a bit of the sound quality and differences, but I still believe that their recording technique equalizes a lot of different tonal qualities. Brand new strings probably do a lot to sound too.

      +Arthur Miller Hi Arthur, I tend to agree, they all are very similar, I think you're right on the codec. They sound a lot more similar than other guitar comparisons Ive listened to, so could be as you say in the recording too. I marginally preferred the Fleta but all superb and very nicely played

    • @SonorityVideo
      @SonorityVideo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Further proof that the reason the sound is indistinguishable between the instruments is due to the fact that a great sound belongs to a great player and can only be helped by the instrument, or not. A good player will get a good sound out of almost anything, the instrument can only help or hinder and very little more. I had to reply to the above. All the best and lovely playing Isabella!

    I like this suite very much among the six suites. But many guitarists do not play No. 2. You encourage me very much. I think your sensitivity is very good, and your performance is full of a lot of consideration. I have a lot of music scores of this piece, but I think you added a lot of notes so that the music sounds like a cello. I think you are a Pioneer. I am very happy to know that a woman like you understands the value of this piece profoundly.

    Sorry I don't hear the difference between the guitars, but I do hear the difference between your playing and others doing this piece! (Sicca also seems to have awesome sound recording stuff.) Hope you'll be recording parts 2 and 3 soon…

    wow...they're all magnificent but the '57 Fleta has SUCH a lute-like tone to it..totally, tonally discernible..damn..maybe even an element of harpsichord without its attack..(sober btw)

    Fleta rules. The sound is ancient and experienced, has more life in each note. But alas, then we argue angels on a pinhead.

    i will never understand , some videos show women dressed almost like you are going to a wedding , the guys dressed with exquisite shirts like some guy from wallstreet.. and those exaggerated manners when playing exquisite classical guitars jaj... GIVe me a break! jaajja xD. perhaps the think they "have" to move like that, piano conciertos..the same ,most of soloists are too dramatic .. they press a couple of keys and almost faint. electric guitar players like possing too but guys like clapton or jeff beck make a guitar cry without blinking. clowns and real performers.

    • @wmg1958
      @wmg1958 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Claudio Cruzat There are no rules as to how the music goes through us or how one should move. Each feels it in their own way whether Yuja Wang or Elvis. And I've seen Clapton wearing some pretty expensive shirts himself. But I too like the straightforward approach taken here.
