The second part of Wonderland Indonesia tells the first version of Nusantara. A Queen with 8 birds describes the Majapahit Kingdom with its 8 territories that stretch from the eastern part of India to the western part of the island of New Guinea, the northern part, especially the countries of Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, to the southern part of the northern continent of Australia. There are 3 parts in this music video which are distinguished by the language used. The first is a medley of Indonesian folk songs which describes various ethnic groups uniting under the auspices of Majapahit rule. Both rap songs have a mixture of English, which explains how the archipelago was destroyed due to colonization by nations from Europe. The last one is an Indonesian-language song about the heroes who died fighting for independence so that the Indonesian state is formed as it is today, symbolized by the Garuda bird...😊

From my opinion, the whole story can be interpreted maybe like this : For a long time, Indonesia & our tribes live side by side with nature; all peacefully; untill collonialist came , take advantages from our country & colonize our people ( symbolize with the Fire Dragon ; "The Banaspati" - the bad spirits in our believing ; that burn the whole country ). Than, the music turn to our National Theme "Mengheningkan Cipta", tribute to our fallen National Heroes. Later, the Fire Dragon (collonialist) can be defeated with the spirit of "Merah Putih" (Trident with our flag). Scene swicth to the "Garuda" (the mythical bird from 6th century in our culture) and became our National Symbol from our Independence Day on 17th Aug 1945 - till now. The scene maybe symbolizing our people get their freedom from collonialism on that day. Our Garuda is the symbol Power and The Unity for our nation, too. And the little girl at the end? Can be represent our new generation that continue our culture & spirit of Indonesia to the future. Nusantara means The Indonesian Archipelago, it is includes half of the South East Asia now (the whole region of Indonesia, Philipina, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and some part of Thailand & Myanmar). The video is actually tell us the story of the history of Indonesia. It is split to 3 part, part 1 is when we were still under one Great Empire in Southeast Asia (Majapahit Empire/Wilwatikta Empire), part 2 is when the colonialism time and make us separated, symbolize as the two headed dragon (Netherlands & Japan) who bring the fire to the Nusantara land, and finally part 3 is when we all got our independence from the colonialism.

That solemn song where the fire spread throughout the land, is titled, “Mengheningkan Cipta,” which translated as, “The Moment of Silence.” This is one of my favorite national song (not anthem, that's Indonesia Raya). This song always sung whenever we have flag ceremony at school every Monday so that we always have the moment of silence for all national heroes back in the war period.

This MV tells us about the fight that Indonesian people had done to rise after being colonialized for more than 300 years. And the song that made you cried is our national tribute song for our heroes who died young to fight for our country's independence. We sing it every Sunday morning at schools.

FYi, Dragon and Garuda (Giant Eagle) are two mythological creatures you will find in almost every single cultures in South East Asia, especially Indonesia. Dragon is known as Antaboga or Dewata Nawa Sanga who protects the under earth from 9 dimensions compass wise. You can find these dragons in all of our ancient sites, and architectures. Until the early 90s we still implement these element in our houses, especially at the front doors and gate. But, then modern minimalist concept slowly outcasts our traditional archi style. Meanwhile, Garuda (Giant Eagle) is belief to be the main vehicle of God Vishnu. Garuda is the emblem of Indonesian country, and also is the main element of Thailand's national flag. All of the South East Asian countries are strongly related in the past. That's why we shared a lot of cultural history together. Even the Angkor Wat in Cambodia built in the 12th CE was inspired by the Prambanan temple in Java built in the 9th CE. Now Thailand is also has the Shihanakon temple which also looks similar. This video is dedicated to 77th Indonesian Independence Day With the addition of "Jili" the manifestation of an endemic bird from Bali, namely the "Bali Starling". A story dedicated to Indonesian independence with the prefix "we live happily in our land called Nusantara". The second part of Wonderland Indonesia tells the first version of Nusantara. A Queen with 8 birds describes the Majapahit Kingdom with its 8 territories that stretch from the eastern part of India to the western part of the island of New Guinea, the northern part, especially the countries of Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, to the southern part of the northern continent of Australia. There are 3 parts in this music video which are distinguished by the language used. The first is a medley of Indonesian folk songs which describes various ethnic groups uniting under the auspices of Majapahit rule. Both rap songs have a mixture of English, which explains how the archipelago was destroyed due to colonization by nations from Europe. The last one is an Indonesian-language song about the heroes who died fighting for independence so that the Indonesian state is formed as it is today, symbolized by the Garuda bird...😊

For a long time, Indonesia & our tribes live side by side with nature; all peacefully; untill collonialist came , take advantages from our country & colonize our people ( symbolize with the Fire Dragon ; "The Banaspati" - the bad spirits in our believing ; that burn the whole country ). Than, the music turn to our National Theme "Mengheningkan Cipta", tribute to our fallen National Heroes. Later, the Fire Dragon (collonialist) can be defeated with the spirit of "Merah Putih" (Trident with our flag).
Scene swicth to the "Garuda" (the mythical bird from 6th century in our culture) and became our National Symbol from our Independence Day on 17th Aug 1945 - till now. The scene maybe symbolizing our people get their freedom from collonialism on that day. Our Garuda is the symbol Power and The Unity for our nation, too.
And the little girl at the end? Can be represent our new generation that continue our culture & spirit of Indonesia to the future.

Nusantara means The Indonesian Archipelago, it is includes half of the South East Asia now (the whole region of Indonesia, Philipina, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and some part of Thailand & Myanmar).
The video is actually tell us the story of the history of Indonesia. The bird got a lot of focus on it because it is the symbol on Indonesia, Garuda ( condor ) Indonesia. And the 5 green stone under it represent our ideology, Pancasila ( Panca means 5, sila means principal ).
The story was opened by the founder of Majapahit, the queen's name was tribuana tunggadewi, she wasn't fought with the colonializm, her time was far from their coming, but here alffy was showing us like that.
The story was, there was one of the biggest and last kingdom called Majapahit, like some of the comment, it teritory was almost all of the part in southeast asia, it was famous until kingdom from what we called now china. Everything was in peace, until first portuguese came, but it wasn't long because netherland was the longest one, japan tho only few years invaded us, they were considered ruthless, so the dragon with two head represent both of the country, simbolized with. Banaspati, like the darkness that counsumed people heart. All the spears shown here had different shape, means, every region in nusantara back then fought with the invaders, we do had different traditional weapons, that was why, the 2 heads dragon lost by all that spears, but one speared was tight by indonesian flag, it means, when we were united as one, as Indonesia ,that time, we had our independence. The girl in white dress sang one of indonesian nasional song about heroes who fought, she can be assumed as ibu pertiwi ( motherland) .
When we became indonesia, we had not only the flag but also a symbol, principals and slogan. Because Indonesia came from unity, from diversity, so it a must for the country to had all of those to remain us who we are. That is why the outfit kept changed base on the ethnicity, even the language was different.
So when Garuda who made from root came alive it means, we have our root, but all now united as one, and now we called our self Indonesia. The garuda soar to the sky, it means, Indonesian will always hold that, Garuda as the symbol of who we are, soar to the sky, protect the unity, protect our history and reminder of who we are.
All the living creature and the places in this MV exist in Indonesia, tho half of it made with CGI. The snake, had batik motif ( one of Indonesia traditional fabric) the bird was endemic bird , called jalak bali, it was like a campaign for them as well.
For indonesian this MV was great and viral not only because of the cgi, or how alffy made it to such a story, but because the history as well. The meaning behind it was more precious, but this MV showed not only how much he loves Indonesia, but also how genius he is.

FYi, Dragon and Garuda (Giant Eagle) are two mythological creatures you will find in almost every single cultures in South East Asia, especially Indonesia. Dragon is known as Antaboga or Dewata Nawa Sanga who protects the under earth from 9 dimensions compass wise. You can find these dragons in all of our ancient sites, and architectures. Until the early 90s we still implement these element in our houses, especially at the front doors and gate. But, then modern minimalist concept slowly outcasts our traditional archi style.
Meanwhile, Garuda (Giant Eagle) is belief to be the main vehicle of God Vishnu. Garuda is the emblem of Indonesian country, and also is the main element of Thailand's national flag. All of the South East Asian countries are strongly related in the past. That's why we shared a lot of cultural history together. Even the Angkor Wat in Cambodia built in the 12th CE was inspired by the Prambanan temple in Java built in the 9th CE. Now Thailand is also has the Shihanakon temple which also looks similar. Indonesia is the land of ancinet Buddhist and Hindu temples. There are thousands of them including the Borobudur temple - the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Please come visit Indonesia.
