  • How practical is it to drive around the world with your pet? In this video I run through all the considerations, and what I've learned from other people out there on the road with their pets. There are of course pros and cons, but it's important to realize you really can do it!

Dan, I think you missed a big item to consider. That US based travels are used to having access to medical care just about everywhere from a licensed Vet. As you travel to more remote locations that may be a challenge to find medical care for your pet. I have a friend that had to euthanize their dog because they were so far from care that the dog would have suffered for a very long time due to their injuries suffered in a freak accident. Not to discourage travel, just for awareness and to prepare for possible medical emergencies.

Thanks for video. Friends here in Kenya found a few smaller parks that allow dogs but in the end it was not a good time as the dogs were keyed up the entire time. Animals in many places in Africa are most active at night so you’re dog would need to have a very relaxed personality to make it thru the night.

I've never done anything huge. But my dogs have been xc twice and have gone on many 1000 to 2500 mile road trips. Alaska from Utah is our plan when the Canadian border opens

Wow! Easier in Oz for sure, warm regions, but looking forward to watching your uploads. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, am on mainland Europe. Thinking I need to get a HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence and buy something "big" to travel in. Leaving from France. If you / anyone else can advise/share expérience, please answer my comment ⚘️🍀🌸

Ha, a dog that hasn't bathed for 6 months, smells better than most people that haven't bathed for 5 days😂
