I love TAG slabs. Scan the code and see detailed scans of the card. If it has damage, it will show you where it is on the card. I think that should be standard. That way, you know you didn't get screwed over by a person having a bad day.
Will never complain about snagging a vintage card. Yeah, I don't like the look of the slabs either. I like the mystery of revealing the grade and the card like we do in our grade reveals. I have no idea what the value of these are. Since they're a relatively new company, there's not a whole lot of sales data on most of these slabs we pulled.
I would definitely agree for sure. These are far from the worst. I did like the slabs and raw cards that were inside. It was just the pack selection really that disappointed me.
I was FLOORED by the crazy stuff we were pulling out of those Japanese packs. I've never been that lucky with Japanese sets. Great way to start it off!
Hey Phil have you heard about the guy who used a CT scanning machine and other tools to scan Pokemon packs and see what holos if any were inside? He had a jungle and a fossil pack both valued at 249.99 and was able to deduce that in the jungle pack was a pinsir holo, and the fossil was a gengar holo. Its a few months old by now, but still crazy nonetheless
Yes, I've heard of the new scanning technology. Haven't really looked into it for myself. It's a great way for people to throw in light packs in their products which I'm not a fan of, in all honesty.
@@PokeHunterPhil it's horrible for the market and community as a whole and I hope it doesn't catch on, thankfully it's NOT CHEAP but there are a lot of people with fuck you money who I'm CERTAIN would use it in a heartbeat to get an edge on people who don't have access 😭 oh what a world
@@alexhuerta6164 Yeah, I don't know why people have to create "shortcuts" like this and ruin the experience of opening packs. The only upside to this technology is for the greedy people that want to guarantee they take the loaded packs off the streets before anyone else can and I want absolutely no part of that. I'll stick with being surprised when I open packs, as it should be.
Cheers for video the graded slabs were awesome all 10s some lovely looking cards hopefully some nice ones for grading hopefully hit some bangers here on the packs good luck 🤞
I would of just kept the packs sealed, and sold the packs to get some funds to get the lose singles graded! The amount of money that you would of made form every pack would be wroth more then the cards you pulled. But what do I know I'm not a collector. I just make money selling the cards, I like profit!
You do raise an excellent point. I'm a pack-ripping degenerate though. I can't help but open everything that comes my way. LOL! Still definitely getting some cards graded though, but you raise a great point as far as profit is concerned.
I definitely agree with you on that. I should've tried these out when they were still using PSA, BGS, and CGC for their slabs. I really don't like the presentation of the TAG slabs and the value is definitely underwhelming.
Yeah, I just liked the artworks personally. Would've rather them be English illustration rares, but what can you do. lol. I'm SO glad that the packs were as loaded as they were though! Saved us from what would've otherwise been a very lackluster opening. LOL!
The reason they spam so many Japanese slabs and packs is cuz it’s a lot cheaper thus allowing them to max their profit margins. Basically these are easily the worst mystery boxes cuz they aren’t even giving you a chance of at least only getting English cards and grades slabs
Yeah, that's true. Japanese are super cheap compared to English and Poke-Collect's products, unfortunately, show that fact as the English cards and packs are more rare to find than the Japanese most of the time. Disappointing.
Yeah, I found that out after the opening when I was researching which cards to grade. lol. First time I had seen that card in any language, but it's a beautiful hyper rare for sure.
I know, right? If it weren't for those amazing pulls, this would've been an exercise in futility. lol. The pack selection was just unoriginal and boring with absolutely no variation even though, between the two eras, there's well over 20 different sets to choose from. Disappointing to say the least.

Not a bad video at all! But there was just a touch too much complaining about the packs. Don't blame you for being upset, but hearing about it consistently took away a bit from the enjoyment of the experience. Believe me. I don't blame you for being upset. But mentioning it 1-3 times at most would have made this a bit more enjoyable. (Obviously, personal opinion. I don't speak for everybody) You did get some great pulls, though!
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I do realize after the fact that I dwelt on it far too much. @PokeHunterPhil Don't worry, brother. The experience was still good and you came back around! I'm only saying it as a fellow content creator (different platform with a different name. The fact that these are almost $60 is absolutely diabolical with such little value in the boxes, but thank you for taking the hit for us!!
My pleasure! Yeah, for how much I paid per box, definitely not worth it overall. I opened them so you don't have to!

Why does the TAG slab say PSA at the bottom? Tag grading and PSA are not sister companies or related in anyway
@@PokeChu0107 The company that sells the mystery boxes used PSA sleeves to put the TAG slabs in.
tag is terrible, theyve graded dented cards a 10 before and have no value in the tcg market
Wow, the pulls were amazing. Big fan of Japanese cards over here and the Iron Crown and the Fezandipiti were my personal favorites!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I never have that good of luck with Japanese packs, so that was an awesome way to start off the opening!
Like the vintage. Not so sure about the clear labels on the slabs. Why are they doing that? Same value as regular graded PSA cards?

These slabs make the card center stage instead of drawing attention to the label. Awesome! Great pulls! 🔥
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Definitely got some awesome pulls for sure!
Keep up the good work and you should make binder sets so we can see how many you have completed

the psa symbol at the bottom of the tags is peelable. i think they make you think its psa but behind psa sticker is tag
