At the time of recording this video, I was obviously really struggling with saying goodbye to the house. However, saying goodbye to our sweet pup Lucy when she lost her battle with cancer just a week before the move brought things into sharper focus for me.
I’ve come to realize and appreciate what I’ve preached to you all along - home isn’t a place, it’s about who you’re with. And although I loved the colonial house, it’s the people (and furry family members) that I share it with that truly matter. I know we’ll be able to create a home wherever we go as long as we’re together - cheesy, but true. ❤️🏡
