The Sun floor print you mentioned is from Mario 64. In the game you can step on that sun tile, turn on the camera and look into the sun above and that teleports you into a secret stage that unlocks the wing cap power up. It’s a really iconic part of the castle so I’m glad it’s included.
It's still a pretty cool looking castle, especially the stained-glass piece! Yeah, using Lego Peach would have been great but seeing as people can use this set for normal mini figures too, and display it as is without the characters, using the normal Human Peach works better.
Yay the purple fruit is cool! but did u know if u stand in lava before eating the fruit then it will be burned and turn grey/black and It will hurt the interactive character.
Honestly it depends on whether you like Ninjago or Mario more as both offer a lot for each fandom. Personally I like Mario more so this set has a lot for me like Bowser, the exclusive prints, and the castle itself. However the Golden Dragon has a ton of good minifigs and a great dragon to boost so it's great for its respective fans as well.
Please don't waste hard earned money on these poorly built Mario sets. Lego is very unethical for scamming people with this theme. If the theme was in minifigure scale you could actually build real, large and beautiful courses. I can't even look at Mario sets they look so abysmal. Good luck to anyone who can wise up and save their money. Still love you Mind.

They modeled Peach's castle after the one in Super Mario 64. It looks amazing in my honest opinion.

The wiggly walls are probably from a carnival type set for the goofy mirrors that you see often at those type of events

I have all the other crystallized sets so I probably will just wait for the dragon to go on sale or buy Lloyd separately.
