When the 'Allegro molto' kicks in. Just tingles, chills and tears all the way✨ What I wouldn't give to be a part of an orchestra producing that superb sonority. Fabulous recording. Well done to the engineers. I have heard things here, I have missed in my recognised recordings. A great job done by maestro Poska and the fantastic Flanders. Bravo!!!
I discovered this performance about two months ago, and immediately played it a second time. "Who are these people - this orchestra I've never even heard of?" Was I just in the right mood - the right frame of mind? I went to my library and pulled out my long-standing favorite recording of this piece - Andre Previn's with the London Symphony Orchestra - and settled in to the familiar. Pleased as always, but still enthralled by the memory of Kristiina Poska and her orchestra, I brought out my second favorite - John Barbirolli's with the Halle (the two of them having replaced Bernstein's with the NYPO lo these many years ago - and it's still pretty good!). Then I played this one again and found it to be the best of the lot (Goodness!). Intonation, Ms Poska's on-target attention to tempo...brava indeed! Thank you whoever's responsible for sharing this.
Dear Robert, thank you so much for these kind words! We will definitely pass on your beautiful words to maestra Poska! And keep an eye on our channel! More Sibelius upcoming!

What a moving, mysterious and intriguing ending! Bravi!
This is a great taste of
Sibelius, by a wonderful
women conductor.
Great camera work
also. I love the tempi
Section and tempo.

Excellent conducting!
Double timpani whacks in the final two chords at the end. So satisfying. Bravo.
One of the most satisfying performances of this piece I've ever heard, and I've heard many. Thank you!!
A performance worthy of this masterwork! Brava Maestra! And the orchestra!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Thanks for uploading!
シベリウスは得意レパートリーの様で、安心して聴いて居られる。しっかりと北欧の音感が伝わる。全曲演奏が楽しみです。ブラヴォー!
Bravissimo!! 👏👏👏 So beautiful performance!! 🎶 Thank you so much for sharing! 🤗
This is a perfect performance of Sibelius' soloistic symphony. Where have you been hiding this great orchestra.
Dear Robert, thank you so much for this beautiful comment. We have not been hiding :) Feel free to come to one of our concerts in Belgium or abroad :)

The bassoon sound is devoid of colors!!
What a pity
