If some people dont understand the ending, Basically the parents of the rich kids only flex their intelligence not their love for them, however the poor kids parents are the opposite. Note: Thanks to Sally Party And Marcella Manning for giving a better idea for a defenition for my comment
The other parents love their kids too because they write signs on their cars about how great their kids are, the difference is that the janitor loves his son no matter what he's good at
Safiya Gobir Of course. Thats what most rich parents do. They have so much money and no love so they need to make fun of others, and think theyre better.
MetinCrafter that's not true. My friends parents are rich and they are very nice and caring. They make sure he doesn't make fun of others and they always try to include other kids that may not have many friends
It's not the kids fault it's the parents for not raising them the right way. Nowadays kids don't appreciate what they have or think about how others feel. The world is really corrupted, sometimes I wonder how the future will be like... Or if we, as humans, will even have one
The psychological abuse of children often starts in schools, where the ones with the lowest results are displayed by teachers and professors as a bad example to the schoolmates. As a result, children grow up with similar judgements toward the other children, and they start to discriminate based on criteria that have been taught to them.
Absolutely right. I always tend to find the root cause to any problem. Now that i have found one, i am really gonna do something about it in my sorrounding. And yeah, thanks a lot.
Its true, in culture where i grow up, if you are fair skin you are always chose to be the Queen Or muse. Or often chosen in every competition when it comes to their standard of beauty. Tea her s often has favoritism.
I’ve never seen so many kids tease one kid before. Usually most kids have a least one or two friends they can go to for support. Thank goodness he had his parents. 😥
Well then you haven’t met me before, you could have seen the whole world turning against me. I am nerdy tomboyish quiet kid who is bullied by everyone for better grades than them, better attitude to teachers than them and what else and all my parents want is a perfect daughter with the best academics . Now you know who I am what do you have to tell me ?
Not the whole world. There are literally billions of people who haven't met you, and you haven't met them. It sounds like you are in a small bubble world where people lack the capacity to value what you have to offer. But one day, either someone will enter your bubble, or you will leave your bubble to have new life experiences. You will find your own place in the world and find your own kin - people who feel more like family than your relatives. Few of us are fortunate enough to feel a sense of belonging with the people we began life with. Part of the joy of life is finding who we naturally click with. It usually takes time. Especially for more unique types of personalities. Sometimes these people we click with are in our lives briefly, and sometimes they are friends for life. You are not alone in that so many people are like you in having a more reserved nature, and feel socially isolated. Many have parents who seem to love conditionally, based on achievement. It is actually a form of loving care for you. It sounds like your parents want you to do well in life for your own future comfort and stability. Maybe they want you to have things, or opportunities they didn't have. But I understand that you need unconditional love, as all healthy people do. It is rare that family members and friends can give us what we need, because it's like we are all a mis-match of shapes trying to fit our needs, wants, personalities and lives together. We need people of all different personality types in the world to contribute something unique because societies are complex. We all have our part to play in the history of humanity. One tiny act you do can have a positive ripple effect on many people you will never meet. And one day you will find people you feel at home with. Be patient. Those who are popular and seemingly successful in adolescence don't usually fit in so well in adulthood. They have qualities that best fit adolescent life, but not so much adult life. There are have been psychology studies about this, tracking students' lives over time. This is their golden time of life. Your golden time is yet to come! 💜
@@nikosgiannopoulos7772 Real Life is something different for them. If your rich you have to work hard to carry on the families richness. Rich people dont acquire wealth and keep it from nothing you idiot...
@@peggyfranzen6159 I might be taking you too literally, but telling your child they're a genius is not an act of love. It is dishonest and nothing positive can come of it. 1. Either the child will think their parents really do believe they are a genius, but will carry the stress and shame knowing that they aren't and will eventually fail their parents. The fear of rejection, I know for some, is a looming dread. 2. They will grow up having delusions about their own abilities and one day fall hard. (E.g. look at all the singers who suffer cruel reality on T.V. for viewers entertainment, when they are told the truth for the first time). Their self esteem, based on a lie, will be the foundation collapsing under them. They will realize that their parents lied, and never be able to fully trust their parents again. This can happen to a lesser, or majorly catastrophic effect. 3. They remain delusional and quite possibly narcissistic, entitled, and lacking in appreciation of others. When the world isn't meeting their reality, they will feel the world is unfairly prosecuting them. 4. With so many children falsely labeled 'genius' the extremely rare genuine budding geniuses, and their parents, are not believed. It can become a nightmare for both child and parents who don't receive the understanding and support those high needs children require by schools, family, friends etc. to thrive. Because 'every parent thinks their child is a genius, and what you are describing is so extreme you are just attention seeking, and want to believe your child is the best.' I may have gone into this deeper than you were meaning, but it is a societal problem. Especially in the USA. I just felt the need to clarify that there is a big difference between raising a child with a sense of self worth based on their genuine qualities, such as, maybe, being 'good at huggs', and false over- praise, such as calling them a genius in all seriousness, if the odds are that they really aren't. It is too serious a topic, as I see it, for me to walk on by. I believe it's better to teach children we all have value.
@@daniellamcgee4251 Oh, you are wrong. All children are gifts from God Almighty, and not from the government, however, when the government they serve - isn't God.

Lego Anakin Skywalker Nahh their parents themselves looked like the guys who never received hugs. The kinda parents that believed they are better than the rest. The ones that wouldn't mind belittling the rest. No wonder their kids turned into a spitting image of them.
Those mean kids all had the realization that they had never been hugged by their snooty parents and that the main character had something more special than they could've ever imagined for themselves.
This made me cry! What a great short film. Perfect direction, perfect music, great acting. It was really amazing to see the father and the mother supported their son. Even if he wasn’t good at studies, maybe because he got bullied, the parents believed in their son. The ending was fantastic. Everyone bullies Goosey and he runs towards his father and hugs him. That was the best scene. The film has a lesson for parents to always support their children. They should be proud of their children and not only their achievements. The film also has a lesson for the kids who get bullied, to not to lose self confidence. They should always believe in themselves. Not everyone is good at everything. Also the teachers should make sure no one gets bullied at their school, college or any other institution. Rating - 10/10.
we should never be ashamed of who our parents are or what their jobs are. whether their rich, poor, well-educated or embarrassing. KIDS! at the end of the day, they are the ones who brought you into this world. its your life. sometimes i find kids being disrespectful to their parents plain disgusting. this world needs to learn the meaning of mom and dad. this video made me cry. i will miss my mom and dad when i'll be going for university. love your parents while you can. my parents didn't graduate university bc my grandparents couldn't afford. they can't speak english. in the past, i've always felt so ashamed bc i couldn't say that "my mom/dad graduated from harvard" (or any other good university) but today, i am more than the word 'proud' to say "my mom and dad never graduated university and they can't speak english" bc thank the god above i am scoring higher than students whose parents are scholars.

We don't really have the archetype in the west but in Aisa, they would be "The top student". The kid who gets all "A", is good at sports and gets into Harvard.
Something about this film always makes me feel like I'm watching a Roald Dahl book in action. Like, the one good kid among a thousand jerks, all the teachers and parents being horrible, the over-the-top achievements that the other kids have gotten... is it just me?
I cried so much when he gave his dad a hug. This is such a beautiful film , the only thing that's really bad or ugly is the kid at the future hog warts school.
That kid has something more valuable than wealth, and that is genuine Love and Hugs from his father. At first I thought the balling of the fists was a signal that he was ready to fight, but then I realized that it might be a hug from his pops whenever he was feeling down. When he put his fist up so tight and close to his chest, it felt like a hug.
Wait, what? Why? The 'hugs' thing came out of nowhere and wasn't even clever. It would've fit better if it was a callback to his father hugging him, but their thing was balling their fists up. This comment section alone has come up with dozens of better lines the sign could've said. What makes the 'hugs' line such a tear-jerker?
As someone who has been bullied throughout my time in school, this made me shed tears even if I didn't want to cry. More than feeling alienated by the entire school, i also felt that my parents couldn't do anything to protect and I was essentially all alone. And although they never did anything like the film, I always knew they had my back and their comforting hugs always made things less painful
Nothing is more sweet and kind then a love between father and son and not to let anything blind them from the love they have. This truly melted my heart and how this loving old poor man wants to show his son he is important and doesn't need this important label 😢 Ahh the message kills me with l❤️ve

His parents love him dearly, and that's all that matters. I'd love a sequel to this film. Fast forwarded to 20 years. He becomes a successful and generous multi billionaire, like example Elon Musk.
And all the rich kids that bullied him become homeless and are now either having a hard time finding jobs, working low paying jobs or begging in the streets.
This just reinforces achievement culture. How about fast forward 20 years and he's in a caring profession like teaching or nursing where he can demonstrate his love for other people. The other kids all go out and get rich living miserable lives where they think they can attain happiness by earning more money but never actually achieve anything meaningful

The psychological abuse of children often starts in schools, where the ones with the lowest results are displayed by teachers and professors as a bad example to the schoolmates. As a result, children grow up with similar judgements toward the other children, and they start to discriminate based on criteria that have been taught to them.

At first i though they were going to make a boxing ring and make his child a world champion. Because of the balled fists.

The act of kindess and love is the most beautiful thing a human can give, and show. That is intelligence
Every parent knows that. All children are born geniuses.
It can become a nightmare for both child and parents who don't receive the understanding and support those high needs children require by schools, family, friends etc. to thrive. Because 'every parent thinks their child is a genius, and what you are describing is so extreme you are just attention seeking, and want to believe your child is the best.'
I may have gone into this deeper than you were meaning, but it is a societal problem.
🌹
Thank you.🌱

These kids won't last 10 seconds on the real world being coddled in a private school
Vergil the legendary dark slayer right?
For real.
Fletcherbro he was talking about this video not actual private schools
You're right - that is, unless they have bullying going on at home. By the way, private school is never like what's in this film. This is a huuuuge exaggeration.
They would do more than fine if those signs aren’t lying. ‘Solved Pi’, ‘cracked DNA Code’, ‘nominated for Pulitzer prize’, ‘does tax returns’, ‘won 6 beauty pageants’, ‘PHD in Molecular Biology’, etc. These kids are a bit more special than the average Joe.
