I watched a show once about a young man who couldn't escape his mind. It was a true story. He was forced into mental institutions for his own good. Or so they thought. He was put on all kinds of medications. They didn't work. I knew how this was going to end and I wanted to stop it but I couldn't. This young man would leave the house at night because he couldn't sleep. In the dead of winter he would climb a tree and sit there. HE COULDN'T SHUT HIS MIND DOWN. And no matter how exhausted you are you still can't sleep. I believe ADHD was part of the problem but not all. In the end he hung himself. I didn't know him but it broke my heart. I wanted so much to help even knowing he was already gone. I would have told him to keep fighting it and not to give up. But I understand he was just so tired.
