I have the serum, day and night cream. I have been using them for about 3 weeks and my skin looks so beautiful. I am 34, I don’t have much problem with wrinkles but I do have dull skin. With a tiny drop of makeup my skin looks like porcelain!

I would have preferred if one side of the face had the peptide serum and the contol side had a non peptide serum. Hiw do you know it was the peptide in the serum that caused the improvement and not just moisturizing factors.
Interesting but i don't see much on aging and decline in estrogen and menopause. We can do many things to improve our skin and I'm a big believer in Number 1 thing SPF daily and nutrition but once we have lost our estrogen there's no topical solution to negate the loss that will happen in the years after menopause. Women are already going up against a losing battle with how much collagen and hyaluronic acid that's lost from estrogen decline and loss through menopause. Sun damage is a big factor but nobody is talking about the inevitable cause 9f aging with hormone loss. It's massively important. Would love to hear more on this subject and the role HRT plays in anti aging if taken during perimenopause.

I have the serum and the eye cream, both of which are fabulous. I cannot recommend them enough. The day cream on the other hand is truly horrible, too thick and impossible to spread into the skin and it caused my skin to erupt in a rash. I wish I had purchased the night cream instead.
One thing that made me a bit unsure was - they didn't use any facial scans for assessment of trial results... Other - the length of the trial only 3 months.. 🤔 Otherwise very interesting! Thank you for this interview!
So often in the cosmetic industry you see three-month trials - just long enough to show a benefit - but I agree it would be great to see longer-term evidence and hopefully No7 will continue to follow-up with the trial volunteers.
The night cream is lovely but I won’t be able to buy the day cream again as even though I don’t put it close to my eyes it makes it’s way into my eyes and they sting and run. It would be great if a day cream could be made so this doesn’t happen as the day cream I’ve always used was fine with no sensitivity to my eyes
I bought the face and eye serum. After about 10 days of morning and night use my skin started breaking out on my cheeks. I’ll use it up on my hands and neck. I think it has too much dimethecone. It just stays on top of the skin and doesn’t sink in.

I think the line is too ‘old school.’ I’ve used it since I was 16 and got my first job in a department store and I’m 66 now.

Unfortunately, it's also expensive. I would happily use the No7 serum though. I've given it to my mum to try out just now and she's happy with it.

I might try these myself eventually but still have plenty of skincare to use up first. Just finished 2 minitubes of the Calecim Mac which was OK but I couldn't really tell any difference after the 2 weeks. The hair stuff though seems to make an ever so slight difference 3 weeks in. At least that's what I am telling myself. Here's hoping.
It takes about 4 weeks to start seeing the effects of the hair serum and it should be obvious by 6 weeks. I’ve found with peptide based skincare the results are very gradual and it typically takes about 3 months to notice a visible improvement.

That's very frustrating re the Neogenesis serum - the Calecim stem cell hair serum has delivered very visible results for my dad. Genuinely. I'll film a six month update on him soon.

And I honestly did not realise it was due to menopause. I have lots of baby hair growing out all the time but the shedding is relentless making my hair thin. The fatigue and brain fog were about to destroy me on top of the uncontrollable irritability which was driving me crazy. I look forward to your Calecim stem cell hair serum update.
I used the serum for a couple of weeks to check how it went on, absorbed and for skin sensitivies etc. I'm still using Calecim daily at the moment and around my eyes I'm testing a OneSkin eye cream but I've given my mum the No7 serum to switch to after she finishes her current peptide-based moisturiser so I can monitor her results. That was a long answer, I know! I was really impressed by what these scientists had to say. I suspect it would take most people three months to see and feel visible benefits to the skin and I'm really pleased to see products like this at affordable prices.

Clare, Thanks so much for responding! I know other serums layer on top of tretinoin but I didn’t want to assume and in doing so, reduce the efficacy to find out later that it is optimally applied on bare skin for the desired effects. Again, so appreciate you!
Hi Lydia. Ideally you want skincare makers to guide you as to the frequency of use for best results on the packaging so that's frustrating. With peptide-based serums and moisturisers I tend to front-load at the start and use them morning and night for three months and then either switch if I don't feel I've seen results or use once daily and see how I go.
I tried to order for pick up at at Walgreens here in AZ. They took the order and then cancelled it due to no inventory. Does anyone know where to purchase in the U.S. as yet? Thanks!
I can't say if this is 100% accurate, but I read a couple of reports that said it will only be available in Walgreens in June but should then become more widely available, including on the No7 website. Fingers crossed!

Very difficult to directly compare because OneSkin is a more luxurious formulation that sinks in more easily to the skin - but they are both made by scientists and have some more convincing evidence behind them than others. I’m using the No7 Serum morning and night just now and happy with my skin.
At what concentration should these peptides work? The peptides are the very last listed on the ingredients list. I know it’s 8% for Matrixyl 3000.
I love it when scientists know how to explain complicated concepts in ways that anyone can understand.

I find most new serums have too much dimethecone for instant gratification but for my skin it feels horrible and leaves a film that balls up.

Because most older skin is photodamaged and these peptides are designed to help reverse that to some extent.
